This reminds me. I gotta remember to post some pics of the neighborhood being flooded to hell from this weekend. Don’t know when I’ll get to it though.
Please take this picture to hold your attentions until I can get to the other pictures.
(I had forgotten how many SRKers in here live in Louisana. Stay safe, y’all.)
I personally doubt that the local government or people in those areas will wise up any time soon, if ever, unfortunately. I mean, this has happened before, just not as bad unless you count Hurricane Katrina basically destroying New Orleans and the surrounding area. Even if that happened to mostly minority and poor people that the American society as a whole has never really cared about, you would still think that they would take it as a sign of how bad things could possibly get.
…And yet here we are, 10 years later, with nothing having changed and some people even being dumb enough to drive into standing water and then act surprised when they’re drown.
Well, if nothing else, thanks for the necessary daily reminder of why I hate humanity.
What a shitty Monday; just learned from the other forum one of the member in R&D department attempted suicide yesterday. They are the team behind the Luminous Engine.
I remember visiting gamedev back in the day when I was trying to make a Mario-clone game. I hope she seeks help.
(Does slightly bouncing up and down even qualify as “dancing” though?)
Her teeth are probably jacked up like a bunch of Japanese people’s are though, hence why her mouth is closed. So you’re too late to protect that nonexistent smile, again. Please end yourself via seppuku–I’ll gladly be your second to make sure the job gets done.
Lucky you, and I say this without sarcasm for once.
That said, this reminds me of that British study that @Pertho posted a couple of months ago in the last Lounge thread that supposedly showed that all women are either bi or lesbians rather than “straight”.
(And you’re paying attention Guiliani’s bullshit because…? I’ll only pay attention to news about that jackass if it’s his obituary.)
Funniest thing about people being so vehemently against Obama is that it’s usually for the pettiest, frequently at least vaguely racist, and even straight-up often fabricated reasons when there are plenty of rather legitimate reasons to dislike the guy (as President) regardless of which way you lean politically.
Oh well. People are idiots. This is nothing new and why we currently have the American election cycle we have, where if it was almost anyone else running against Hillary Clinton at present from the Republican party save for Trump, then even with fucked up as the rapidly imploding party already was, she would be basically guaranteed to lose.
