Ah @Preppy Most of the user base are adults and not using it to intentionally offend people. Honestly, I think a word being allowed or not allowed is more of an intent kind of thing. If a word can only be used to offend people like slurs for homosexuals and other minorities, then it is probably better to deal away with it. However, I honestly think that the people who want both versions of the word banned are culturally unaware people who think the ‘er’ and ‘a’ version are the same. I don’t even believe that it is even the higher road to ban it. It’s actually more racist for somebody who doesn’t understand the cultural context of a word determining whether it should be banned or not.(By that, I mean the people who brought the issue to you).
