@“Tekno Virus” Well I do like working on planes. The engines and Powerplant specifically. Idealy I would like to have a job in which I’m designing and testing engines and propulsion systems and shit like that. It seems Aeropace is the field for that, however mechanical engineering is much more flexible and you have a lot more job opportunities. But I am a Aircraft mechanic already so that experience along with an Aerospace degree could make it easy for me to get such a job
You want to be at Udub, University of Washington. The entire engineering department right down to the advisors are Boeing employees. Take the AS transfer degree at any state community college and admission is practically guaranteed you can crank it out in 6 months if your maths up to snuff. Probably have an easy time getting a job at Seatac in the meantime too.

VampireSoldier:So any engineering guys here or those familiar with the field care to give your 2cents?
If you want to be an engineer, go for it (how’s your calculus?). If you just think it will be good money, get a business degree or something.
I would definitely agree with doing school part time while you keep working though.
It’s not just the money. I’ve always had a fascination with trains, planes and what not and how they move and work. Like how is it that something that heavy can fly through the air or move at high speeds on the ground. While I haven’t done much if any calculus, I’ve always been pretty good with math. I just never really applied myself, and just did enough to get by in grade school. But yeah I’ve been told caculus is important for it, so I’ll look up some books or online vids and start learning. Can you attend a community college part time. Are universities part time as well?
@pedoviejo Well like @Jimbo13 said, Cali is not the place for those fresh out of school to find work unless they’ve done some serious networking during school to land internships and get some kind of foot in the door at a company. Which really only fulltime students with mommy and daddy or a scholarship footing the bill would afford them to be able to do so. You’ll likely have to relocate for work until you get your experience up and be able to compete for jobs in Cali. I’m going through that right now hence why I’m here in the desert.

even if you had mom and dad pay for everything, luck plays an important role.
Also, if you want to be designing engines that’s all mechanical engineering. Aerospace engineering is more concerened with the materials and design of the fuselage.
Hmm I was told that mechanical engineers are often used to manufacture tools, and parts for aircrafts rather than be used for any engine work in aviation, where as Aserospace dudes get those jobs.
@Jimbo13 . Hmm the 6 months. That’s really possible? Just looked up the school. So they’re out in seattle. I thought you were talking about D.C. Washington could be cool. See a new part of the country. But damn that 33k tuition. But doing two years at a community college would make that easier to deal with. What community colleges would you recommend? What courses would I need to take to make sure they are credited towards the major I want? just inquire with the university?
Also I was strongly considering Georgia Tech seeing as how it is one of the best ranked schools for Aerospace engineering and I’d be near family. But I’m now leaning towards mechanical engineering. And seeing as how Boeing has teachers and faculty there it sounds really good.

yes and now.
Mechanical engineers develop anything that has to do with dynamics, that’s engineering in a nutshell btw. They still have to develop the engines, not just the blades on the turbine etc. Aerospace dudes wouldn’t know anything about bearing (in general) from their course load
Deadly Women is on ID right now… once again proving just how dangerous these insane creatures are. This one woman they’re talking about now had her kids in the car when she drove up to shoot her former boytoy. (*“deadly cougars” is the name of the episode)
…of course she gets a manslaughter charge instead of straight up murder.
“doesn’t seem like a bad person, just made bad choices…” some idiot just said…oh sure of course. Not a bad person…all she did was show up and MURDER her young boyfriend while her kids were in the car to see it…no big deal, y’know.

Whatever you do, don’t go to South Seattle Community College. A couple people from this site work there and it’s pretty destitute. The staff was a piece of shit, and from the stories I hear from the people working there, it wasn’t just to me. Plus it’s more for nursing.
If you do get a job at Boeing, good luck and remember to always look on the bright side. The people from there always seem to hate their lives and will try to project it on us that don’t work there. It never works, but it’s funny and sad to see at the same time.

Wut? Why would folks hate working at Boeing? Isn’t it like the grand daddy of aviation companies and only second to Lockeed Martin? That you have to bend over backwards to get into? And thanks for the tip on South Seattle CC

As long as you’re ready to follow-through now…
I imagine the ability to take classes part-time will vary greatly from school to school; you’ll have to do some research there. My guess is that larger schools (like state schools) are more likely to have multiple sections and night classes that would be friendly to such an approach.

Only play country music, and watch the minorities squirm in frustration. lol
Mofo please. Minorities love country music when it doesn’t suck. Same as pop music. When Beatles or MJ did it, it was great. When it comes out of the factory, it sucks. Check out some of these great country hits:
Rolling Stone’s "Sweet Virginia"
Conway Twitty’s "Love To Lay You Down"

Lol at these episodes of one piece. They keep drawing Robin’s waste smaller and smaller and her tits bigger and bigger. She gonna look like this by next episode.

Haha I just brought that up after this latest episode, too. That shit is so weird. You know if this was an American cartoon people would be rioting in the streets.
Wonder Woman’s gay now, hot, and the chick she’s digging is hot too. Win win for everyone.

Probably some sort of silent protest they are making since they are being forced to draw all this furfag shit.
These animal people getting static electricity powers from rubbing on each other? Really?

I am surprised that she wasn’t gay too begin with. I mean they had never seen men before? Who where they having sex with if not each other? Shit didn’t make any sense except them being a dyke paradise. I thought that was some sort of unspoken cannon.
Just finished watching now you see me 2.
Im sure objectively it’s a bad or at least not very good movie.
But fuck I loves me some magic. The heist scene with the card swaps was so fucking cool.
Yeah they just trying to make a big deal since the movie is coming out.
Also my girl was taking a melatonin pill, and she was like “i forgot to let it dissolve in my mouth and just swallowed it!!”
So I started playing this song.
No vs threads.

Fun fact, the original writer for Wonder Woman was a psychologist who had a strange threeway relationship with his wife and another woman who lived with them. He was also a huge proponent of bondage and submission, claiming that only by accepting submission can we make society better by suppressing our natural aggressive urges. The whole submission and lesbianism theme of early Wonder Woman comics was very much intentional. Hell, the dude has gone on record as trying to push his views on relationships and society through Wonder Woman comics.
So yes, Amazons were originally intended to be “open-minded”, though obviously not lesbian per se, as Wonder Woman had a male love interest. Wonder Woman comics before the Code are fucking weird. Goddamn Nazi bondage dominatrixes, Amazon wrestling competitions where you have to tie your opponent up, magic restraints that make you a “good girl” if you’re tied up with them, Amazons losing their superpowers if they submit, and implied lesbianism/bisexualism everywhere.
The Comics Code was trash and its so nuch better now that its gone again
