And… I can’t say that I disagree.
Additionally, this is the exact same thing we see in modern entertainment. Comic book heroes being bent into forms that they normally didn’t occupy in popular media all because it’s a familiar and nostalgic kick in the nuts for the kids who grew up loving them.
I mean, it’s not just books. Every venue of entertainment is being gobbled up and vomited out as a regurg of what is and was highly popular. Or more importantly, we are being told is and was and (even more importantly) should be highly popular.
