I mean, the middle man is youtube, so they are beholden to youtube’s rules. The only way to alleviate that really is to use your notoriety to build your own platform or to use another platform. It sucks but there are lots of companies lawyers on youtubes dick theres nothing they can really do. I hope the best for those who randomly get moneization taken away. They still work hard to produce the content they do.
And no I am not talking about people that just record themselves reacting or playng video games, I mean the actual content creators. Game Theory, Nostalgia Critic, AVGN.
I think part of the problem is that there’s really no competition for YouTube so they can pretty much do what they want. Much like Amazon or Facebook, there’s only going to be one main video site and YT is it; they’re almost too big to fail at this point.
I know there was like a crapton of copycats and what-not alongside Youtube when the latter was in its infancy (like Dailymotion).
WTF happened to them?
Kinda right, except documentaries that are about STEM and or history subjects are worth watching. Some news ans or channels may be provide great “content”, but for the most part a lot of it isnt that good and devolves into a giant circle jerks.
Google is losing a TON of money because advertising is fucking stupid, and and even more stupid and horrible thing to base your company revenue on. Youtube is fucking huge. Trying to run that shit on ad revenue is idiotic. There are people who make 100k+ a month just from “illegally” harvesting clicks to Google affiliate sites.
haha Tom Leykis has a classic caller on right now—the guy on the phone is going sooooo far out of his way to defend his relationship with this single-mother. He’s actually getting noticeably agitated in explaining how great things are  The other caller is on his case and this is gold, man… he’s like “I BET you we’ll find out once you send the pic that she’s AT LEAST 170 lbs. (at 5’5…dude #1 is claiming she’s 5’5 and 145 lbs.)” Oh man…I love this show.
The guy is a love-sick dope… he was “friends” with her for a long time (Friend Zone, I guess?)— and he feels he has to “step up” and assume all the responsibilities of being with her AND raising this kid that isn’t his…then during the conversation we find out he’s also been bailed out of jail by her 2 or 3 times.
heh, they’re trying to get through to him but it’s useless. He also plans to eventually marry this girl, of course. As usual with most dumbass dudes…he believes she’s different…she’s not like all those other girls out there…
oh and he believes she doesn’t have any presence on social media sites either…and doesn’t have male friends so he believes she will always be faithful…wooOOOOoooo
haha, soooooo much nut across the world has been spilled off to Pam throughout her entire career…and she’s against that shit now? Is this broad serious? Sheeeit, I still have a copy of Barb Wire on dvd, and various episodes of Baywatch recordered (though Pam wasn’t even the best one on there, imo.)
…and the name “Shmuley Boteach” always makes me laugh, because it sounds like a stereotypical yiddish way of saying “Smelly Buttocks”.
Playboy has a long history of distancing themselves from any playmate which did hardcore porn. While sold in porn shops, playboy has always been considered somewhat high brow because the writing in it has always been solid. Playboy operates in a weird space in terms of pornography.
As for her movie, don’t think she’s ever stated that she wanted it released. Making a private film isn’t exactly engaging in the porn industry.
