how did I not see this. Japan is nothing but left over ricer hype from fast and furious. All their “cool” cars where priced at absurd premium prices with weak performance. Its easy to “dominate” when everybody was making garbage cars. Even today their subpar “performance” cars are priced at such weird premuims, you can buy other cars that outperform for far less or outperform at the same cost. The 90’s accord still retained heavy elements of Japanese box styling which make it a Japanese classic, and the 04-08 Accord (Acura TSX in US) had good lines and tried getting at that sharpness while still having to comply with fuel standards, Even the 98-03 Accord Coupe tried that box styling with its rear. VS Subaru, Mistubishi, Toyota, and Nissan have been building ugly bubble cars with horrible sharp lines to try and make their cars look less bubbly than they really are, and they’be been doing that since the 90’s with everything they have had. The last pretty car toyota made was the late 80’s MR series of cars (a good car with all due respect and toyota’s true mvp)
Japan was all about box styling, they did it better than the Italians. Their cars where actually reliable and performed well compared to everything else. If you can’t see why the Accord’s I listed aren’t visually appealing then there’s something wrong. 90’s JDM isn’t great for the most part, and very very few cars where able to make the transition from box to shperical design well.
The FD did it best, all the car’s you listed didn’t and fell flat on their faces.
Also skyline’s are over rated garbage, and i’m wiling to put money that you prefer the mark 4 over the mark 3

Had chevy not fucked up qith their c7 z06 and made it soft car, plus addressed the issues with the lt4, it would be a continuation of rape from the c6 and c5 era. Nismo products are wack, a r spec genesis walks and outrurns a nismo 370 priced at almost double the genesis.
Inb4 corvette and viper arent as fancy amd seat two or too aggressive. Lol
The chevy cobalt had a time similar to the type R in 2008 for half the price (lol at a 45k fwd hatchback when the st amd rs exist or you can buy a mercedes gls amg for the same price), secondly honda is being sued for lying about their times and equipment set up. The lap record they claimed was done by a profesaional driver, with a roll cage, expensive summer tires not offered by honda, and arop tech non dot legal brake pads. Ie a spec car thats no longer factory stock
Thank you for pointing the akyline hype, only the r32 won anything of value. Mark 3 still looks better than the mark 4. The most succesful Japanese car in terms of legit racing domination was mazda’s experimental le mans car using 4 rotor set up.
New nsx isnt performing well at all neither and is really expensive.
I like your line of thinking but your prices are all off which I think will change your mind. GTR is NOT 160k not even close unless you’re talking about the Nismo GTR which is around 160, and at which point a Viper ACR and the new corvette are absolutely not walking it. In fact if you look at those comparison charts the GTR takes some of the tracks and and the viper takes some.
But with that in mind, those are definitely comparable cars, corvette in particular is actually a very comparable car although even the price of the new vette is more than the GTR. Base GTR price here in canada is ballpark 100-120k for the base-premium package which shits on almost anything in the price range.
New NSX i think will flop too…

I honestly hope they clean house and get rid of everyone associated with this game. It’s terrible. The only reason I even play it is because I have that one friend who REFUSES to play any other fighter that may be more complicated.
I can’t believe SF4 was more fun to play than this shit.
I traded in my copy for some green backs. I was going to wait for Urien but didn’t feel it was worth it.
And of course SFIV was more fun. We got Evil Ryu and Oni! Stomps and slashes all day!

Haunts is in charge of running streams and community relation. Haunts has been a great hire so far. I get mad at combofiend because he probably made one or two suggestions that made it into the game; woshige definitely helped.
The many questions I’d have for S-Kill if given the chance. Can’t imagine getting a job as special advisor when you’re supposed to work with a bunch of people notorious for ignoring advice.

I’m not buying a ps4 until a game that is going to come out comes out. That’s still a year away.
I would have Revelator but AWS sucks shit at releasing stuff to the PC thinking that everyone wants their old shit. We don’t. Give us the new hotness or fuck off until you do. I practice on SIGN but it lacks a couple of combos for my character that Revelator has thanks to the balance update.
Tekken has always sucked and I’m not Mexican enough to enjoy KOF games.

the thing is that the nissan gtr that’s priced at 160k is the one that comes close to the type of performance. The non nismo ones aren’t that hot.
I get what it tries to do. It was supposed to be a car you can put your expensive golf clubs in, and go golfing with your friends, drive on the street easily, and occasianly WOT it. It does that well, but the performance packages taht put it int he same tier as Viper, Vette, Porsche, McLaren, are overpriced imo.
And jesus fucking christ man, a base vette cost that much in canada? you can get them here for like 57k with added z51 package. NAFTA isn’t helping you guys at all At that point it is probably smarter to buy a GTR

After SF4, people should really know what the deal is with the american representative for fighting games inside the company. S-Kill spent his entire Capcom career shilling for a multitude of decisions he thought were ass. He was terrible at hiding it but he never broke that silence either.
Maybe he did, maybe he didn’t. It definitely plays like a combofiend type of game and it has some GGish things without a lot of the other things that go with that type of gameplay.
