My man wtf??? Combat might not be as tight as W1 but its still far superior to any other action RPG out there. Also Witcher is about the story, you do yourself a disservice not experiencing it.
(Can’t wait until Pokemon: The Totally Necessary Live-Action Movie has no Asian people in it even as minor characters. Whee!)
Ugh. Took a nap of two hours accidentally. Got up three hours ago feeling even more tired, which is why I don’t take naps.
Oh well. If the downstairs neighbors are going to be so loud so regularly, then it’s not like I’ll be getting that much sleep anyway. I need to find my earplugs…
That said, it was hilarious to come back to two instances of people being utterly destroyed:
So glad I don’t care about Twitter or No Man’s Sky.
edit: NMS getting raked over hot coals is ridiculous. The gaming population prefers exploring and story over anything else and this is to deliver that. Now people are pissed? Lulz.
NMS is journey x minecraft except with less crafting and fun.
Also even jap games can have crap combat. Really never cared for the combat too much in dark souls, always felt too shallow. Kinda how I felt about the Witcher from when I played it. Of course in the witcher you get more moves, flashy spinning sword strikes in shit, but it’s all still on the same chassis.
I like the combat in Dragon’s Dogma, as you actually can do a whole slew of different things, climbing on monsters and just being able to run into them in the wild is awesome. It has vastly different play styles and it actually has classes that are actually DIFFERENT and just don’t start you off with different gear/stats. Too bad it’s story is shit lol. Maybe one day someone will combine something like that with a game with a good story and actual good multiplayer.
