People falling while leaning and thus falling flat on their face inches from the finish line is much more common than actual diving. That said, I don’t have a problem with it. If you’re willing to lay out then more power to you. At the end of the day you shouldn’t leave nothing in the tank in pursuit of victory and if you gotta dive to get that last drop out then that’s what you should do.
Yeah, I kinda feel like you on this. It isn’t exactly against the rules, but it just feels like “Playing Dirty”. Almost a punch below the belt kind of thing. I guess in the end, a win is a win.
I’ve been watching a lot of the track and field lately, some of it is really exciting, but some not so much. 100m is cool and they are obviously great athletes, but that shit is over too fast for it to be a really exciting sport to watch imho. 400m is cool though, as are some of the longer events (I watched the 10000m, that shit is crazy, those dudes look seriously malnourished though lol). 400m, 800m, and 1500m are my favorites atm. 200m is ok, but it’s still over a bit too fast. The relay events are all pretty awesome for the most part though. Swimming still reigns supreme in terms of excitement though, with Volleyball (beach and indoor) a close second
