Old American DBZ dub for me all the way, and yes… I cannot stand the japanese music. I’m not even sure if my opinion on this would be different if I saw the japanese version before seeing the english dub. Of course the american music isn’t great either, but I prefer it any day over the ridiculous, goofy shit I remember hearing in the original show.
The new DBZ game looks incredibly disappointing, btw… I am not sure if would even be worth a 15 to 20 dollar price, imo… the problem is what I see in the gameplay videos… basically, there’s hardly any real gameplay from the looks of it. It’s “Push x,x,x,x…” into QTE-sequences all day long. When there’s too much “QTE” going on in a game… it’s like you’re not even playing the game anymore, imo. You’re watching the game play itself, as you are occasionally prompted to press 1 button or 1 direction to move on to another segment of cool-looking things over which you have no real control.
push-ups score for today = 430 so far… slacking. I expect to have a good 500 or 600 before tonight is over though.
Ah yes… and now we have the Herman Cain situation going on… once again, isn’t it funny how the average person seems to automatically believe basically anything any woman says negative about a man? In the court of public opinion, you are instantly DESTROYED the second 1 or 2 women accuse you of something.
…further out in left field with this post… this also reminds me of how amusingly foolish my old annoying friend Dumbass was for saying “TAKE A CHANCE!” when the topic being discussed was hot women that happen to be your co-workers. Nigga please… sure you can afford to do that at some bullshit ass job that you don’t really care about, and when the job market isn’t a depressing pile of hopelessness…sure. If you value your very livelihood, you learn quickly to just keep your mouth shut around women in the workplace…because their words can ruin every aspect of your life immediately. That’s the power they wield today, but of course, nobody would take any man’s complaints about this or anything else in life seriously. There isn’t really any “innocent until proven guilty” in the minds of most people…especially when it’s a woman accusing a man of something. I’ll stop there because there’s really no point in stating the absolute, ugly truth about certain things in life. Anyway, yeah…go ahead and “TAKE A CHANCE!” like this is “Generic Romantic Comedy #74 starring Jennifer Anniston”, and you’ll just end up either talking with the folks in HR or you might even be fired a few days later. Yeah, that’s exactly what will happen if they don’t like you, or are in a pissy mood for whatever reason and feel like destroying yet another man…the destruction and ruin of a man’s life is seemingly like a magic elixir that sustains and revitalizes their life essence. “Take a chance!” haha, what an astoundingly foolish concept in today’s work environment.
You can’t even be truthful with them about all this, of course… but yeah, this shit is precisely why the average man that has any measure of common sense will NOT speak to you at work, ladies. The intelligent thing to do is reduce all communication to simple shit like “Hello.” and “Bye.” while we quickly walk in the other direction from you.
