DSP’s Gears 3 Horde mode videos continue to provide quality entertainment… his reactions are so priceless, especially considering his deaths are his own fault a good 95% of the time… dude walked away from cover and right up to a Boomer’s face…and the Boomer already said “BOOM.” about 2 or 3 seconds ago, so you know he’s ready to fire… BLAST and he’s down-- Phil: "OH COME ONNNN!!!" I can’t get enough…this is too good. In the previous vids he repeatedly squats with a mulcher gun, usually in the middle of nowhere with absolutely no cover at all and is surprised when the enemies blast the shit out of him.

DSP is like the prime example of Poe’s Law. I can’t stand to watch him. I honestly don’t know how I made it through his Ghostbusters run.
I just don’t like giving more information online than I have to even if it’s unfortunately doubtless on record in quite a few–too many–places already due to it being almost impossible to avoid that. Watching Howard the Duck on Netflix. Haven’t seen this movie since I was in elementary school.

Sheeeit, it’s not even fair to compare the old X-men cartoon to this new one on G4. Action scenes are allowed to be the real deal now…characters can be shown getting harshly fucked up…you couldn’t get away with that stuff in the '90s era Saturday morning shows. I’m looking forward to anything involving Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister in this new show.
I should’ve taken some time off… work is the last thing I want to do tomorrow…then I have the stress factor of the Homecoming events coming up very soon… I feel basically obligated to go and see certain folks from the college days. That’s fun, of course…but traffic at any homecoming event is unbelievably bad. I hate situations where you only get to move forward about 10 feet on the road every 25 minutes. This is another reason teleportation is needed…it would be great to simply teleport to the game or any of the other events, and teleport back to the apartment when things are done.
Oh yeah…college years continue to be the high point of life, imo. Basically, the only significant thing that is better about the “true adult/working” stage of life is the regular stream of money…oh and the lack of any kind of homework or studying being necessary over a weekend. It’s great that when you get home in this phase of life…you don’t have to do anything at all. I can lay on the couch for an entire Saturday…heh, yeah that’s an awesome luxury. I only went outside today to take out some garbage.
WS - yeah I love Smash for how amazing the options for the game were. I can still enjoy brawl so long as i don’t take it seriously. I could put Gabe Newell in this category with Sakurai and George Lucas. Team fortress 2 is go item centric now…ugh. Left 4 Dead :sad: and we’ll never see HL2: episode 3…why do these men destroy the very creations they put effort into which revolutionized things?
Have you ever gone back and watched the originals as an adult? Those original cartoons are horrible, awful plot lines and character interaction and shoddy animation. The Phoenix Saga was horrendous and what the fuck was the Morph shit?
