There is no glory in defeat. There is no honor in a loss.
Play to win.

David Sirlin needs to release more combo videos. They were fucking amazing:

I have now done the David Sirlin summon dance. He will show up in this thread, ask me why I give him so much shit and then report me for trolling as this is unbecoming of people posting on SRK. Still the best combo video ever next to:

I finally found the name of the damn MegaMan track that gets stuck in my head, about fucking time.
oooooooooooooh man i am gonna get fired.
for those who don’t know, I’m the most asshole person in the world. No typo, Im drunk but that means nothing. I hate one and all. period.
Anywho, got an email just now from work
who the fuck cares?
I’ve been very busy in getting adjusted to the new role.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped this adjustment period either by offering me some very direct feedback on things I could be doing better or differently, adjusting their shifts to help the business handle call volumes, or various other ways.
I would like to take this time to get a better understanding of some concerns or suggestions that you currently have in order to help me better understand ways we can work together to improve the work environment or that might help be more successful in your job. Successful businesses have successful teams. Successful teams have common goals. We need to work on developing some common goals so that we might begin working towards achieving them.
I would like to get some feedback on things you would like to see improve, concerns you currently have or have previously had, or even suggestions you have that you feel would improve the quality of the work environment for your peers.
I ask that you limit these to three in total for two reasons: to provide me the opportunity to address your concerns more efficiently and effectively and to ensure the three things that you offer me are the ones most important to you.
Please feel comfortable in offering very direct feedback, but, please work towards communicating it in a professional way.
really? what the fuck. I will get fired if I reply to this e-mail. It’s pure fucking bait. #1 we are STILL beta testing software (although they won’t admit that, even when 92% of our customers can’t make it work), and they roll out NEW software without testing it at all? Or consulting us. My company is the devil. Seriously, they are Lucifer and they want your soul. If you are American, and live in the South, and have Windstream as your ISP, be a smart little yankee and ditch them ASAP. Seriously, if I could give you one piece of advice, it was just given. Get a new ISP and thank me later.
#2 Please feel comfortable providing feedback? The dude who sent me this email, is my 3rd boss in 8 months. His superior has been replaced twice. If my bosses are that willing to replace your monkey asses, what hope do I have when I point out the 40 or so cheats in the system I found to guarantee I hit incentive and get bonuses on every pay?
I have idiots making up retarded rules and bonuses on my contracts, and they expect me to not stick my dick so far down their throat they taste maple syrup and psycho power? Out of curiousity, how would I approach the fact I have WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than 3 topics to discuss? I don’t give a shit about his limits or chimp brain capacity to handle knowledge. I have like 15-20 VALID arguments about the direction of my company. How should I even start this assault e-mail? (I am thinking of throwing my top 3 obvious problems, then give him a spoiler type part of the other issues). Also, my boss is American. What the shit? Enter key is working in SRK. Fucking voodoo.
lol I take showers. I will leave the scented candles and bubbles to your gaping asshole…I mean manhood…I mean…ummm…I didn’t mean to insinuate that people are lined up behind you to assfuck your asshole.
It still must be a pain in the ass to mod those FG sub sections, and I don’t recognize like half of the new mods now.
don’t say that then not tell us the fucking track man.
I dunno, things in the SG forums have been going pretty well since I carpet-bombed the place…
Now that you see this, guess how much better SRK would be if Oro used his second arm on it?
Edit: I am convinced these dudes in the Valentine sub-forum posted their combos in a shitty way to make my life more difficult. Even worse is dudes posting videos of the combo they did instead of the notation. God damn.
They chose well in my eyes.
But take from me, after a while you just…stop caring. Well, I shouldn’t put it in that way, but for somebody like me–I’m old. I’ve been on the site for 10+ years, and I served my time. I doubt I’ll even care about SRK when I hit my 30s.
I wish I was playing some dota 2 right now.
I dunno, something about being a mod/admin just gets inside you and grows. Ten years ago I was the admin of another gaming forum for four years. I thought I could quit, but then you join another forum and see idiots and think “I know how to fix this.” and get sucked right back in. I’ve never been a member of a forum where I seriously posted where I haven’t become a mod or an admin at some point. I even get recruited just for it sometimes ,which is the case at TYM. I don’t even play MK, yet I’m their Skullgirls mod. >.>
Funny thing is, I actually sent out an e-mail similar to what your boss sent out when I took over as the new shift lead. Of course, being able to take constructive feedback and criticism and use it is a good trait to have. I’d recommend answering it like a grownup, and don’t present your arguments like an asshole. Just present your top three criticisms, and offer to share more privately at his request (don’t force them on your boss, that’d just be a fucking stupid thing to do).
Do you one better:

Apparently I’m a cunt.
I wish I had known this sooner, because I’d have spent the past few years trying to fuck myself instead of others.
How embarrassing.
That’s cool bro, any explanation about it? You are leaving us in mystery.
My assumption is a SG related PM.
What song was it?
Look up at the giant MegaMan video I posted.
Nooooo… anyone who’d have a beef with me in the SG thread can’t PM me because they’re banned.
It was just a local group. Dude called me a cunt and told me to keep my opinions to myself. Apparently congratulating a guy for quitting SF4 is offensive. o_O
SRK is the only forum that I have been actively apart of over the years. I’d love to say that I could mod for another 10 years, but I know it’s not going to happen. I’d rather them replace me with somebody that is willing to take the time to make a difference, and at the same time won’t act like a douchebag. A lot of people think modding is easy, but the job is a job within itself. That’s why some of the most notable mods on here stepped down, because the idea of modding just wasn’t as appealing anymore from when they first started.
I understand getting burned out, because it happened to me a few times, but when all is said and done, I just see retarded shit and know I’d rather take care of it myself than trust someone else to do it.
