SRK is pretty much the only place on the internet where the original Xbox get’s a considerably huge amount of love. And there’s no reason why it shouldn’t get any love.
Unlike the 360, my original Xbox still functions after 10 years of frequent use (with a 4 year time period of neglect). The only problem that it has is the disc tray is wonky, but one of my friends can diagnose and fix the problem for less than $20.
I used it a lot for 3rd party titles during the last gen. A lot of games ran like crap on the PS2, and the Xbox versions would fix a lot of the problems like dipping framerates or screen tearing in THPS. I also found the hand-me-down ports of some games to be superior, most notably MGS2 & Silent Hill 2.
But first party titles were the best thing about the console. Excluding Halo, and all the budget title shooters, the console offered some unique exclusives coming from Japan and other countries. In fact, it seemed like JP devs excelled on that console because they managed to get the most out of it, compared to the Western devs who were stuck making generic shooters and sports games on it. Funny how shit changes within the course of a decade.

what scares me bout this vid is i have heard of way to many guys who had this happen sans the vlog. this my friends is the prime definition of preg trapping.

It’s a mask. There’s the Tekken intro with him putting it on. I’m telling you he’s taken in the ferocity and SPIRIT of a tiger, hence why he can roar. But a man just roaring like a tiger looks silly, so he wears a mask.

On that note, any noteworthy Blazblue tracks? I ask this because I really love most of the GGXX tunes (though I didn’t quite get into the games), even the wacky Linkin Park-esque Korean #R ones.
Taught a volunteer class at a local university last night.
I had two Filipinas helping me. One of them introduced herself and asked other students to come up and introduced themselves (This is an speaking practice class).
One girl comes up and goes:
Student: I have a question.
Flip: Ok.
