Virtua Fighter 5: FS’s home console features sound SO fucking good. They just revealed a few things on Gamespot’s On The Spot:

Links are a rhythmic thing. If you can play guitar hero/DDR/anything similar, you can hit links. Especially if they’re not 1-framers. Time the button press so the button is pressed after you visually confirm the limb connecting with the training dummy. If you hit the button before the limb connects, it’s not happening.
If I was able to come from a heavy 3D background where most multi-button moves are chains and play SF and hit links after a few days of practice, you sure as hell can, too :tup:
Downpour is another case of an interesting story and character in a game with a crappy combat system. Oh well, not my first time.

Rez is friggin’ amazing, but can be beaten in one sitting. When it first came out on PS2 I bought it, took it home, beat it in three hours, then got pissed off that I beat it so soon and took it back. On the way home, I thought about the game until I got home and realize I wanted to play it some more, then went right back to the store and said I’d changed my mind and bought it again.
And yes, I bought it again when it was re-released on XBLA.
On that note, most SHMUPS can be beaten in one sitting, yet have tons of replay value.
