I’m late, but, yeah, that “Search SRK” box in top right of the front page applies to the front page as well now. Actually, it might apply **only **to the front page, but I’ve only used it once or twice, so I’m not sure.

However, I’m not sure how applicable that is for fighting game characters. It works for cards because they relatively fixed properties where all you have to do is plan around those properties and interactions. Compare this to characters with perhaps limited parameters for victory/reducing health to zero who otherwise have all their “properties” ultimately determined by the forethought **and **dexterity of the player; the dexterity/manual aspect of it makes it a lot more difficult to put out any type of “primer” versus situations where all you have to worry about is forethought since you can’t exactly tell people who acquire Desk’s devil-hands–that takes practice if it’s even within reach for a lot of people. Hence why pretty much all the M:TG things you’re talking about are either about specific combinations of cards or outright archtypes rather than all the possible combinations that you can do with one single card that isn’t limited solely to combo decks.
This is why I still don’t get what you and RSG3 are/were getting at with all the information that’s already readily available.
Knowing is half the battle tho. I mean i dug back a couple pages and Dandy J’s video with the bit of info about canceling into HD combos and the tips on Back Dashing was damn informative. I didn’t even see it tho cuz it got buried by combo videos damn fast, combo videos with far less useful information in them then DandyJs video.
I dunno, it just seems they aim for quantity over quality.
I am secure (somewhat) in my relationship with my wife enough to know that I can have a completely nonsexual, nonromantic relationship with a woman who happens to be quite attractive. Besides, the girl is MARRIED to a marine. I know that wouldn’t really mean anything if i was single BUT as a married man I am secure in the fact that I am a good husband.
Could she try to hit on me and want some of this points to crotch at some point? Well of course that’s a possibility… she is a woman afterall and I am The Invincible Swordsman. However, immediately activating The Friend Zone at the beginning of the match should help us and our relationship thrive.

I always ask this, but since I always ask it, I might as well ask it again: Am I the only person who found/finds G.I. Joe boring? Nothing ever really happens from the episodes I’ve seen of the original series.
“Seems”? They are “aiming” for that, unfortunately. I can understand trying keep people up to date on stuff, but as said in Pertho’s thread before it got closed, I’d rather have the front page go back to rarely updating anything outside of Evo information than have it be the cluttered mess it is now. Trolling Youtube for combo videos isn’t exactly helping most characters or people anyway, though; I must admit that the recent Morrigan by Byakokoko is interesting, but I was already into *UMvC3 *Morrigan, so it’s not like I wouldn’t have ever seen it otherwise.
Oh well. This is part of why I’ve been ignoring the front page even more than I was before.
oh yeah, that reminds me of a recent Friend Zone episode on mtv…it was one of those silly ass episodes where the girl is the one that has a crush on her guy friend (a situation that is hilarious to me for several reasons…I’m not even sure where to begin ranting on that scenario)…basically they bonded even more as friends when he lost a lot of weight, then she got inspired to do the same. Anyway, the guy seemed quite fruity to say the least. It’s funny how you can tell so quickly with most people… anyway, he wasn’t off the charts like your average male fashion designer, but it still seemed obvious enough to me. It also seemed like he was pretending to be perfectly ok with going on a date with the girl just to save her the humiliation on a nationally televised show…assuming the show is even using “real” friend-zoned people and situations anyway. That show stirs up an interesting mixture of emotions for me.
ah! It comes on again tonight, starting at 11pm central…it’s running 11pm to 1 am.
Well, that show “Awkward” has a few hittable girls on there… nice.
WHOAH this girl Carishma is being shown on mtv right now…they just randomly showed a whole music video(!?!) by this broad for no apparent reason. There’s a great scene where she’s on all fours on the beach, in a bikini, and popping that ass like a pro…NICE.
I was checking out One Tree Hill on soapnet yesterday; Sophia Bush is such an incredibly hot piece. She gets bonus points for that hot voice…it’s similar to Demi Moore’s voice back in the day. The other 2 main girls on One Tree look extremely tasty too.

I ignore the front page more often then not as well but updating it every now and then with worthwhile content just seems like less work then updating every 10 minutes with garbage, and is better for the website on the whole to. Seems odd as fuck to me.
You’re almost right. Somewhat pretty girls tend to surround themselves with ugly friends so they look even better by comparison. I just watched a movie or show that really illustrates my point. I would look for a clip and post it if I could remember what the fuck it was.
(Using people to make yourself look better isn’t really friendship, though.)
I’m kinda curious about something else with regards to this whole matter of “friendship”, but I’ll refrain from asking at present, partly because I’m so behind in everything else today already.
Alerts related to GD constantly popping up don’t help much in that regard.
For the record, I was being half-sarcastic considering my long-winded reply a video that goodm0urning posted on the matter last thread.
That said, I have to have to agree with white shadow on both counts here.
If you think you can actually be “just friends” with this woman, then good for you. I don’t really care one way or the other; I just don’t want you to deceive yourself otherwise, partly because I don’t want to have to deal with the fall-out drama from worst case scenario. [/altruism]
I am merely very excited because I have a new friend. Like I said before, I haven’t made a friend (female or male) who isn’t a coworker since I’ve been married and mytherwise) marriage is 8 years going on 9. I have a lot of acquaintances. Lots of people I know. But a friend? Man… those are rare. It takes a lot/something special for me to call you a friend. And it has to be mutual like any relationship.
It was just SO COOL to hit it off with somebody SO WELL out of the blue SO QUICKLY. It was awesome. I didn’t even hit it off with my wife like with her.

This case is really sad (for now, at least), and it takes place not very far from me. The thing is, I just couldn’t stop LOLing and thinking of Million’s reaction to someone dressed as Santa Claus straight up murdering a whole family. I’m sure that fit Million’s sick taste of humor quite properly. I mean it’s sad, but if one can’t appreciate the humor in a deranged killer Santa, then what more is there to live for?
