Sheeeit, my GBAsp still works. See, that’s hardware quality there. It would be nice if other systems from certain other companies had that kind of longevity. I’d bet that my old SNES still works too.
…anyway, for the first time in several years, there I was playing the old GBA once again. I forgot that the “regular” version of Mario Bros. was also on the Super Mario Advance(SMB3) cartridge. Things get surprisingly chaotic in the higher levels, of course… spiny turtles, ice, flies, fireballs and other things everywhere…and the enemies get sooo fast. I went with that on my lunch hour since SMB3 is a bit more “involved”, y’know…in comparison, regular Mario Bros. is like the light appetizer, whereas Super Mario 3 is more of a full-course meal.
OF COURSE, my Gunstar Superheroes cartridge picks this time to disappear… this reminds me; perhaps I should keep those in a locked safe… it’s probably impossible to get another Gunstar Superheroes cartridge at this point.
