Also Bayonetta II as a Wii U exclusive? If Platinum keeps strongly supporting the Wii U why would I need another system, especially when the PS3.5 and Shoddy parts 720 are it’s competition this time around.
That’s because they would be coming out for systems with massive hardware bumps from the ones we already have. The Wii-U isn’t much better then what we already own. A Bayontta 2 on PS4 would have so much more to give us with the powerful hardware and better memory usage. They had to Scale Bayonetta 1 back due to bumping into the Ram limits on the current hardware. The wii U isn’t much better but I have to shell out 300 bucks to play it? They might do some cool shit with the touch screen who knows we’ll see, but from a performance standpoint it wont be much more then what we got last time but we have to pay next gen prices to play it.
This isn’t fucking hard to understand, everyone who doesn’t seem to get why people are a little upset are being thick as fuck. Have you forgotten our economy is in the shitter and 300 bucks for a new system isn’t exactly an impulse decision? I dunno, we are at the end (?) of the PS3 cycle and how many games actually took full advantage of the PS3 hardware? Uh, maybe four. Why would you want Bayonetta as a launch title for an untested system? Remember how shitty launch titles look and play compared to something a few years down the line? Also it’s not next gen pricing. The PS3 was fucking $500/$600 at one point and the 360 I think was at $400? You can bet the PS4 and Xbox blah blah will be higher than a Wii U, it has a right to be I guess, but it doesn’t mean I will snatch it up so readily.
I can give the Wii U the benefit of the doubt since it is running on familiar hardware, something that kind of bugs you but is fine to me, so it would be easier to produce while giving Nintendo a nice edge. Also Nintendo launch stuff usually holds well over the years, I even play a few Wii Launch titles every now and then. Familiarity breeds confidence and all that.
Honestly I don’t see how the PS4 and Xbox whatever can get any better than where they are now, unless the MGS trailer becomes a reality and even then that’s like a .5 upgrade. When Xbox is already having issues on their console due to shitty products and Sony not even announcing a new system yet (While still having a beast of a machine in the PS3) I don’t really care for their next gen offerings.

Honestly, I’d be happy to buy it right on my ole PS3/360, I’m quite content with them. But i have to pay about 400 bucks to get play something on hardware that’s not much of leap over what I got. If I had my way it would be coming to PS3/360.
At least on a peace of beefier hardware it would have something significant to add. I don’t think Touch Controls for Bayonetta would be all that interesting. it will be cool for menu work and probably contcoting and a few mini games of some kind but i don’t see core gameplay using it, that’s if the Wii-U even uses it at all. They’ll probably just design it for the Pro Pad since it’s basically a 360 controller already anyway in which case I really am paying 300 bucks for a slight upgrade.
