What’s the news on the netcode of TTT****2? Is it actually worse than the netcode in T6? If so, I’m gonna have to wait for that shit to get patched before I pick it up like I did with T6.
Everyone complain about the shitty netcode like everyone did with T6 so it gets patched.
TTT2 netcode is on the level of SC5 or even better.
In other words, it is fucking fantastic.

Does anyone ever not complain about netcode? I don’t play any FG online (or really at all), but all I ever hear about is how shitty this netcode and that is unless it’s GGPO…
I don’t complain. I think the last time I complained was when Tekken 6 dropped, when I tried to get back into the series.
And I’m a big fan of VF5’s netcode, which isn’t GGPO.
bb, p4a, skullgirls, sc5 and now ttt2 have all gotten pretty rave reviews for netcode quality.

It is. But so is 3SO, and that gets complaints, for whatever reason.

People should complain about netcode in FG’s, because the majority of them are terrible and almost non-playable. HDR and 3S:OE are probably the best experiences to have in an online FG outside of GGPO itself.

Nah man, the only streams I watch involve UMVC3 or 3S. Occasionally I’ll watch some A2/A2 gold tournament footage, too. I’m gonna go HAM in Diablo 3! :tup:

Because of rollback, dudes would land KO hits and the rollback would undo it. As well undoing other attacks. You can clearly hear some attacks hits but the rollback would undo it. That’s what I remember off the top of my head regarding netcode. Training mode blows because you can’t save any settings even if you just go back to the title screen. The DLC colors are all ass. There were complaints about the HUD and EX moves not coming out. People were also saying either DC or PS2 was a superior port and that Derek Neal is a lying SOB since he was hyping up the best port ever. And it has worse connections than GGPO.
People complain because they want to fight other people but not all of us can. No sense in dropping all this cash for a game you can’t play vs anyone decent. Like KOF XIII has this issue. You can find good connections, hell I even found a guy that was almost like offline. Fought another who was a prick and it was laggy enough that it felt like playing KOF 99-01. People outright told other people don’t even bother buying the game unless you have offline comp. It blows to have great games that have bad online. But ASW has been doing pretty good and VF5 FS is pretty reliable.
