Then you have 3 years to OTG anyone with a prefabricated otg move even when theyāre in getup animation, so thereās literally 2 seconds of room for error. How are these combos?!

Just think of the OTG portion as part of the combo. Doesnāt even bother me that much anymore except when you trade against a move that causes a hard knockdown. Watching your opponent get up from the trade and OTG is rage levels inducing. MK9 is way worse at this shit than UMvC3 though; Cyrax hits somebody with a trap and he can dash up, teleport to the other side and finish the combo? Yo that game needs to shut the fuck up.
Both Doom and Magneto can do that. You need to play that Skullgirls and hit up Peacock. That bitch got bombs on bombs on bombs. Her bombs travel through the floor, fly planes and track you across the field. Cableās daughter is wild as fuck.
