They already allow 1080p videos. 60 FPS, twice as large, big whoop. Only a small subset of people will be utilizing that high of a framerate anyhow.
They definitely allow 30 FPS videos, if not sub-30 FPS (i.e. 29.67 FPS).

Super late, but couldn’t sleep last night and finally beat bastion. Man it’s a shame that the stars of the show of e3 were gritty fps (I know I’m over exaggerating) instead of games full of flavor and style.
I’ve always been a fan of smart and stylish (as well as fun) games over push the graphics most real gritty mature first person shooters.
Ironically I’m gonna start up and beat dead space 2 next. Dunno if that falls in a similar category but the complete immersion of dead space was leaps and bounds above anything I had really seen in games before.
I love losing myself in a game, immersion is a beautiful thing, i somewhat hate sega games (bayonetta I’m looking at you). I don’t need a score screen every time I kill an enemy, or a world map, next level menu screen.
I didn’t like bayonetta at all, all those things really took away and broke the momentum of the game for me. Like the hour long supers in sfxt or random camera changes.
Kind of a rant at this point but I love innovation (or just a smart presentation of the product) in games more than most super real mature gritty games.
