the worst part is,
You have to change to SRK Light for it to work.
It’s killing my eyes to ignore people as much as it kills my eyes to read their drivel.

Eh I just don’t want to be bothered. I don’t mind reading stupid shit. I do mind getting alerts that people have directed their stupidity towards me. Fortunately I am using mIRC’s Blue Steel which gives me power; unfortunately ignore doesn’t work with it.
I thought that was OrochiKen or something?
I never use ignore so I just assumed it would work if you had it set to SRK Light with the style activated.
Also, Tataki is one of the dumbest posters on SRK.
Set the thing to light on SRK and then put the stylish theme on. Ignore should still work properly.
oh man the same thread title confused me
Your theme looks kind of glitched on light. The borders on the side of the page are way lighter than the rest of page, but it looks great when dark is set. How do you change the color of clicked links?
I miss the fat man Boel, bring him back.
What was that from anyway?
Sweet av, by the way xl.
So… Coors, Michelob, Pabst, Bud, Natural Light, et al are all >>> Heineken, to you?
Don’t get me wrong - Heineken is a poor beer.
But no way in hell is it worse than AmuriKun beer.
Because nothing is.
It is a mathematical impossibility.
heh fat dude was Dynamo from the seminal classic “The Running Man”
Thanks. I’m not very good at art, but I like recoloring and editing sprites. The Earthbound series has a bunch of cool characters.
Old Spice crossover?
The site looks ugly that way. I’ll just grin and bear Tataki as not to insult the amazing way in which SRK looks like now thanks to mIRC.
Looks like a group of gay phones to me.
Lol, don’t be hating on the Barrier Trio. If you haven’t played Earthbound and Mother 3, you should.
Maybe someday, too expensive until they do a port.
(I don’t see how SRK Light is that blinding. Perhaps I’m just used to it, though.)
I still haven’t done the national park thing. Instead, I’m having this discussion instead of just filing it away under “Unproductive Things You’ve Obviously Thought Too Much About”.
That folder’s kinda full anyway.
No, it wouldn’t. Bowser already talks as does Kamek, so Peach being the mother isn’t necessary for his kids to talk.
I don’t recall them talking in Super Mario RPG or Yoshi’s Island; I’m pretty sure about the latter at least.
No, I’m asking myself: “Why is he undermining his own argument with by pointing this out while still missing the point? If all the minions can talk, then the Koopa kids being able to talk means literally nothing.”
They speak more because they’re not mooks, have more input and show up more as individuals. Them having distinct appearances could be anything from them being Bowser’s children unlike the rest of the Koopas to Mario getting over his speciesism and actually being able to tell them apart because they’re actually among the few Koopas that have survived an encountered with him, especially since unlike other mooks, they’ve all taken him on one-on-one.
Seriously, just because mooks don’t get fleshed out doesn’t mean that they don’t have their own personalities. It’s just that no one, including the hero, tends to give a shit about those personalities as they take them out en-masse. I’m sure that Mario cares that the Koopa Trooper he just set on fire was taking care of his elderly mother or that the Goomba he crushed to death was a single-parent.
Creators–and by extension the audience–tend not to care about that unless the “hero” is more morally ambiguous, they’re trying to be subversive or, most commonly, they’re doing it for (dark) comedic effect:

We have no idea if they were born with that hair or if it’s even real or magicked on whatever.
With regards to biological sex, there’s nothing to say that some of Bowser’s minions aren’t female, especially since it seems semi-sexist–yes, I’m going there–to assume they’re all men (or even have sexes or even genders at all, really). It just doesn’t get pointed out because, again, they’re faceless mooks whom no one really cares about (from the hero’s perspective).
The sex of a Mario character as a whole only really comes up if we’re overtly told, even if it’s just through a name like “Wendy”. Obviously even that’s flawed–again, why are you undermining your own argument?–since you pointed out how Birdo is really “Katherine”, who is really actually male (which I’ve known for years), which shows that we have a canonical instance of a Mario character straight out–pun not intended–lying about their biological sex; less offensively, it’s less “lying” than it is having an instance of a character identifying with a biological sex that differs from the one they were born with.
(I’m not even going to get into all the things this could say for Yoshi and Birdo’s relationship, even if it is just friendship.)
Hell, until the ass-pull that was Toadette showed up, did you think that the Toads could be anything but male? Doesn’t a “Goombella” show up in one of the Paper Mario games, which seems to be the only time that most of the “mooks” get any variation because you’re actually interacting with them on more than a face-punching level?
That kinda happens when Bowser and Kamek/Magikoopa probably personally teach you magick unlike everyone else. There’s nothing to say that the generic Koopas don’t have the potential to learn it, especially given how bountiful magickal items seem to be in the Mushroom Kingdom, how some of the elite Koopa mooks like Lakitu use magickal items and how all of Bowser’s kids save Bowser Jr. still use wands.
It’s just that they don’t because Bowser and Kamek/Magikoopa don’t give a shit about individual mooks, especially versus Bowser’s own kids.
Whoa, what? Kamek being Bowser’s kid when Kamek shows up in Yoshi’s Island as an adult?
Now you’re just talking crazy.
Mmm, I’m going to need pics becauseI don’t think I’m seeing the same thing. I’m not too sure about clicked links since I have that functionality off but it should be a simple color change using a:visited.
Haven’t changed my desktop in awhile.
Because I wanted to give as much info and perspective as possible, it’s less of an argument and more of a fun series of observations.
I’m not a rapper, so stop rappin’ at me.
I’m not debating, so stop debatin’ at me.

I think you may have taken my post a little too seriously.
finally turned to the darkside srk black
it’s somewhat hard to tell who’s quoting who, but other than that no compliants. In fact, I might stick around with it for awhile.
I hate seeing my bank account go into negative balance.
