Is it weird that I feel protective of the name Valaris?
I’ve been using it for about 12 years now and I stumbled the other day on a dude on a Brony fanfiction website with the same name and got angry. And also found out some dude at my local lan cafe saw my handle while I was playing and snagged it for WoW and other MMO’s (he told me he liked it so he just started using it).
Am I weird for wanting to tell him to come up with his own shit?

$315 for shoes, man…and you KNOW there will be kids and teens out there that will get them… sneakers at that price just seems like such an absurd thing to me. That is well over 10x what I paid for my most recent ones. Sheeeit, that $315 could be a whole video game system + games! (*something that actually lasts you a decent amount of time and actively provides entertainment value…all clothes can do in terms of function is: “look good”.)

Nothing wrong with being attached to your handle. Over time its how others will identify you. On every site I frequent I’m Infernoman. Been using that name since CS 1.3 days. I cannot associate myself with any other name nor do I want to. If i cannot use it by default I’m Infernoman64 but recently I’m going with The Infernoman. First place I made that change was Xbox Live since adding numbers to the end of my handle just looks…unoriginal. At least adding “The” to it has a bit of style. The Batman, The Rock and now The Infernoman. If you have a way to claim your handle do it!
