Thanks for adding me to the clan, there’s some things I wanted to say about this game but didn’t get the chance to earlier.
I’m sure a lot of people here have played SFIV online, and I really loved the game, and I was extremely pleased with the quality of the online mode (don’t bash me please it’s just one man’s opinion). That said I felt deep down this game was missing something, to complete the experience for me, and I didn’t know what that was until KOF 12 announced lobbies and Clan mode, and of course it’s inherit team play feature.
I honestly feel that clans are essential to quality online fighting game. This gives players the benefit of battling other clans with good rep, instead of the typical random scrub/ragequitter, and gives people incentive to play harder as they are repping their clan during the matches. Most importantly the game recreates a better sense of online community.
AI is a perfect example of an elite clan of gamers, I’m sure a lot of people would love to join/fight with these players, and that’s what makes part of the online fun. It’s like you’re testing your skills against well known players, and getting the chance to compete/beat them really is what would make the online experience perfect imo.
I’m looking forward to this game now more than ever because of this clan system.
Yeah funny Reynald, I think most ppl here would agree that a leader needs to be a CHAMPION, and who better than the our own CHAMPION himself?

We’re definitely getting off topic, but I’ll make the regular XII AI guys will show up to EVO; we’d love to exchange strategies off of you guys, and I’m sure they’ll plenty to learn from each other.
I’m sure DG loves all the “hype” and the trash talking, talking to Jon tonight, he said he’ll take the 2K2UM and the 98UM title along with XI (hah sorry Jon for putting you on blast), and I’m sure Reynald and Jon will take home the XII as well.

Presumptous no, I am going to make sure it happens period…mark my words, no one will stop me, when I set out to do something it’s like a ticking time bomb, it’s only a matter of time before it happens…so “sickening” go ahead believe that, I don’t stop until my goal is achieved…it’s only a matter of time…

Also how many of these people are gonna show up? How many of these people are gonna wake up on time this year??? :rolleyes: I can’t control who shows up and who doesn’t. (Aka at the Raging Storm 2009 Phoenix Major which had MORE MONEY than I’m giving out at EVO for SNK games etc… how many did NOT show up…I can’t worry about who doesn’t show up anymore…lesson learned!!! U don’t show up you don’t deserve to be crowned Champion!)
So if you show up expecting EVO to be like the Raging Storm and be crowned US Champion I’m sorry but it doesnt work that way anymore!!! If you win EVO you’re just EVO World 2k9 XYZ Champion. Some of you should’ve showed up!!! :wonder:

I think you get my drift, in theory this is nice, but something is gonna go wrong, someone isnt gonna come, or something…so its always gonna be “theory matchups”, which I get sick of because instead of worrying about these people NOT showing up, I should be taking care of the ones that do show up.
I dont think so…no word on anything Wiz is doing PLUS the fact is it’s been pushed back in America to July 21st…so things aren’t looking good.

For the record, I wasn’t going to join the XI tournament last year as I drove in on Saturday morning pulling an all-nighter, I only wanted to join the '98UM one, which I did. So I didn’t sleep in on any tournament I didn’t want to be in.
We’ll help you out DG to get you to the level you want to be for XII, don’t hesitate to ask for tips like I helped you for '98UM
