Using code speak is a risk. People can see you conversing with others, even if you cant see what the words are. Syn, Godots, and everyone involved in codes were killed for their actions. Plus I explicitly allowed codes as a test for this game, since it’s been banned the last few mafia games, to see how it goes. It went about how I expected, a few use codes and the masses turn on them for the alliance.
Nobody had any idea you were pming. So there was no fallout from it in game. Nobody could see you guys buddying up and taking each other to the end.

For what it’s worth, I believe you, but the facts remain you were added to a PM which is against the rules and didn’t report it.
I get your frustration, TGG, but you should have done like everyone else that had a problem with it and vent about it AFTER the game in order to prevent it to occur in future games.
You didnt leave the PM. You didnt report it to the GM. Post game, when you knew that I knew about the cheating, you said nothing. I knew it was you from the get go. And I gave you a chance to come out with it. But you didn’t. You’re only sorry you got caught.
You were somewhat respected in mafia games for recent games, now you’ve thrown all of that into doubt. Who is to say you havent been cheating all along? You obviously have no problem with it going on. You’ve cast doubt on all your “S-Tier” play now, all because you handled it wrong.
If it was my say, I’d give you a 3 game ban. But I’m harsher than most. And I recognize that you didn’t actively participate in it, which is why its not a perma ban.

and in the time it takes me to do that, syn, vynce, pie, and whoever else was in that sweeps the game for free because of their alliance. I decided to say fuck it and play by the same principle.

Also as much as I disliked the encrypted messages, They are very different from actual PMs with being able to tell who is talking to who. There no way I would have pushed for syn to die as I did had they not been using the codes.

Did they sweep the game free by talking in codes? They were actually targeted for it, at least by Jason.
And you did not play by the same principle as they did. The use of encryption was allowed in this game. The use of Shoryuken PMs between two players was not.
In future mafia/hunger games I propose no code speak. I didn’t want to ruin the game and was having a hella fun time though, really awesome game especially since my power allowed me to manipulate my way to the top, but at the very end all my complex plays and conspiring was toppled by 1 end game play by bious and a shit ton of outside help he got from everyone else.
I congratulate bious again impressive endgame play, and I take pride in knowing it took the combined might of the sponsors to stop me from winning :tup:
7th phase the game ended. We didnt get to see all armor slot items destroyed, or excalibur : )
I had too many items for the number of players. Not everyone should be decked out in main hand, off hand, and armor items.
Armor is also too high. Body Armor especially, having stuff like 4 armor makes it too hard to die.
Reflex Booster was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to op, it should be “So long as you have 0 defense, make it 4” or maybe even 3. Also not allow you to give that defense to others.
Items should be rarer, turns should be deadlier, defense should be viable but not at the levels it was in this game.
Dragons should have been more threatening, but if 3 armor wasn’t so easy to get, 3 attack would be scarier.
That ability bluff at the end was hilarious.
Dragon blood needs to be a real ability or misc item in future games.
Edit: Like “Vial of dragon blood: Drink this to turn into a x/y dragon for x turn(s) but you drop all your current equipment and can’t scavenge items”
A lot of things I hadn’t accounted for. Like trading items, or especially dropping items. I hadn’t considered you’d want to give an item away, so the rules didnt handle it. I ruled you could do it at any time, which may be a problem.
Sponsors being able to influence the game immediately was a challenge too… originally I had meant for the mto only come in during phase writeups. I may have to go back to that. Especially with my busy work week, it was hard to keep balanced.
Sponsor rewards need to be tweaked, for sure. Mostly reflex amplifier was the biggest problem. Messages were fun, I liked the way those worked, but it removed a lot of mystery. But of course people used them to fuck with the players too lol
If I am indeed a cheater, then you can see that I’m not a very good one.
