Just saw it. I cant remember the last time I was awestruck from a martial arts movie since the first Ong Bak film.

The Raid is a really bad movie with some of the best action scenes in years.
So I showed my friend the trailer to convince him to go see it with me and he said “the only thing I want to waste brain cells on is alcohol” the next day his roommate left this in his room

I watched this shit with my brother…my cousin couldn’t make it. That gives me an excuse to watch it in the theatre again when he’s able to go.
Daaaaaaaayum, this is a day one purchase for me when it comes out, I may wind up seeing it again in a theater. My only regret is I couldn’t see it with a packed house, had 6 people in the theater with me. WATCH THIS MOVIE!

Holy shit I think I just grew several chest hairs in the duration of that movie. Super sick. Loved it.
movie had sick fight/kill scenes, and delivered action wise.
plot was really wack, but i enjoyed it nonetheless lol
I’ll get crucified for saying this, but the movie didn’t live up to my hype:
Plot (especially ending) was mediocre, and the fight scenes were getting monotonous towards the end. Overall, movie was okay, with some clever parts sprinkled within the fights (door frame, flourescents)
