Is there any way to get free NX? I heard there was an offer to do surveys and stuff but it seems like it’s down right now. I’m just grinding it out and saving for avatar pieces at the moment… got like 3 right now.

So since the news about the Priest Patch, I’ve been trying to lvl the crap out of my monk (currently 46). Right now I’m running Lab, and have quests for Verd/Frostfield as well as a couple other quests, so if anyone’s interested in running any of those lemme know. I’ll run any other Aphelia/Citadel and higher maps on my other characters as well. I’m just a lot more focused on my monk now and hopefully there will actually be an SP reset (thought there would be one when the lvl cap was raised to 60 ).
Man, I logged on this week and there were like 20 people online, I was like wtf. Sorry for my absence. I usually log on, plan to play, and then just fall asleep.

eh I didn’t mind. I just plowed through boring GBL quest with the zerker and then did some of the lab quests on the bender. If anything, I need to start doing 5 tower runs a day for the VPs.
You’re better off raping a mule for an hour than all those countless tower runs, which you can only run five times per day. I let people rape my god tiers so I stop getting kicked from PvP, even though I follow standard kDNF tournament rules regarding upgraded gear and the like. I remade my mech, but I messed up by putting mech in the name, so I get kicked even from practice channel before the stage even loads.
actually it isnt too bad. on average one is able to get 15 to 20 VP a run. It took me a while because I didnt feel like “waking up”, playing once a day (about 30 mins on whomever), and I dont PvP.

Sorry to whoever keeps sending me invites to the SRK guild, I tend to leave the game on when I go places so I don’t have to go through the logging on process when I get home. I just happen to get all my invites when I’m AFK lol.

So I heard awakening or whatever is looked down on in PVP. Generally like… what’s the rule on PVP and leveling and gear and all that? What’s acceptable and all that? I don’t know anything about PVP with this game.
Well technically there’s nothing stopping you from doing anything in pvp. Some people want to cheese it and do awakening but it’s generally bad sportsmanship because awakenings are often a one move kill sort of thing. But awakenings have a 2 minute cooldown and most matches would probably end before it pops up. There’s no real limit on gear but generally if anyone has any weapon above +10, they’ll hit pretty damn hard (+10 is also a significant amount too because some of the damage bypasses your defense). In Korea they have a united channel that caps gear from going past +10 because the gains are immense after that. No restrictions on anything now, so go crazy since a lot of other people seem to do it. I personally use a +7 pvp weapon, though I haven’t pvp or played consistently in a while.

Not sure what the exact time is but awakening becomes available when there’s only 30 seconds left in the match or so. Someone is usually dead already. I’ve only seen an awakening in a few games, and those were FFA’s, but I suppose if you’re doing a disgusting amount of turtling, you could go for awakening.
In terms of gear, if you’re running 100% speed gear, like Wind Coat, Hot Pants, Lapore, etc, people might start bitching about your gear. Additionally, if you’re running anything past +13 (or +12, +13 was my own personal “wtf” limit), expect people to whine about your gear/call you a hacker. There are also a few weapons that are pretty annoying to fight against…the Tacoma musket or something is the only one that immediately comes to mind. Not sure about all the lvl 50 gear but everything else is pretty much fair game.
