swap your regular companion for a air elemental and pick a plane that gives you some good resistance and you are good to go. Just make sure you grab that feat(Greensinger Initiate) to be able to qualify for Planar Shepard. Pick up natural spell too
@manx go ahead and let him make his character ecl6 and just have him not get any experience on our next session since we are so close to leveling anyway.
@Angelpalm: Can I do this as a Human? Only ask cause I had big plans centered around my dude and it does have some racial things present. If so I’d be down for that looks fun.
You basically trade off that feat and the extra skill points for nice stat boost for wis/cha based characters which a druid can take advantage of. Dump you other stats and make your character middle age for that extra plus 1 to all you mental and minus 1 to your physical stats and you are ready to rock. Of course after this me, rock, and Canadian will really be bystanders.
@manx what do you think of me taking a level a barb and switching out rage with that crafty hunter variant?
And then switching out fast movement for that lion totem variant for that pounce ability.
I am trying to fast track my way through ranger since it is getting out classed right now and trying to use Crafty hunter to pick up another stack of favored enemy and my second step in my archery progression(manyshot) while sacrificing some skill points(since barbarian only gets 4per lvl)
That way when I get to level 7 I can start on the scout class so I can make a swift hunter, yeah boi!!!
Well you don’t have to many choices for feats, I gave you pretty much what you can take and need to take to progress and be a bad ass. As far as point stats, what do you mean bro? Link me to your sheet and use this to figure out your actual abilities.
See if that works. I just put the new stats up last night, haven’t added in level gains or anything yet. Cause we aren’t playing until maybe next week anyways.
It may gain a Class level of the desired class next level. That said, your bird is level 4 now, with 8,050 Experience going towards getting level 5 (the bird will always be a level behind you, kinda like Cohorts from the Leadership feat.). Since you haven’t leveled him up yet, do so. Add whatever class it meets the requirements for, or advance it as a monster, or Magical Beast more specifically as shown here:
Be sure to give it an ability score increase of your choice for reaching level 4.
I’m about 99% sure you’re going to give it a character class instead of advancing it as a Monster. Just keep in mind that the trade off for doing that is that it will only advance in Hit Dice, Saves and Skills as the CLASS that you choose, and not as a Monster. Could be better, could be worse, but in the end it’s your choice whether or not it advances as a Monster or as whatever class you choose, each time it levels up.
These are gonna be your base…cause I forgot that your constitution also modifies your animal form hp.
Add 2 to wisdom and 2 to charisma then age penalties and bonuses and adding 1 more point for being past 4 hd will give you this.
STR 7
DEX 7
CON 14
INT 10
WIS 22
CHA 11
And that’s only because I didn’t want you to get any penalties on your mental stats. You physical stats save for con are junk and truthfully Charisma is only good for wild empathy but if you are summoning shit with you outrageous Wisdom score that wont be an issue.
Edit: Did you just say I can level up my owl in a class? Does that list say cleric? Literal HOLY SHIT, NEESA JUST GOT REPLACED BY A FUCKING BIRD!!!
Yeah, just keep in mind that even though Magical Beasts level up as Monsters like a Fighter does (d10 HD), it wll still level up as a Cleric if you choose to level it up as one (d8 HD)
