If I knew then what I know now, things would be different. You can’t be nice. You can’t be civil. You can’t even be human. You will lose like that. Every time. My shit is pretty fucked up, but I’ve heard even more horrific cases. In my case, we own no property, so it’s only the children to fight over (yay), but this one story that I just read about a guy who “won” basically gave up and gave his wife everything possible so she couldn’t even ask for any more without sounding like a complete ass-bat, then stopped making payments on his home, filed for bankruptcy and continued living in it for 4 years without making payments while amassing an ungodly amount of cash that no one knew about.

Yes. I just don’t talk about it much because rage.

We go back to court in July. I’m ready for this to be over. I can’t (really) date. I can’t buy shit even if I had money. Can’t see my kids as much as I’d like. It sucks. But it’ll get better. I feel bad for men who go through this at their peak. That’s just prime rapin opportunity right there.

Good news: I have TeamSpeak server running on my laptop.
Bad News: I have no clue what I’m doing. Reading. The. Fucking. Manual.

And I just got the OK for my (badly needed) PTO this week, so I can run a game any day this coming week except for Saturday. I have a meeting with my lawyer sometime this week, but it should be brief and probably early morning, so I can pretty much run whenever. Also, I’m looking into getting some players to replace the people we’re missing now. @Angelpalm, I know you mostly dropped out because of a schedule change, so don’t think that Im giving up your spot. You can come back whenever you’re ready. Same for you, @Neesa‌.

Right now my focus for D&D is finishing this dungeon we’re in and getting the one-shot game planned and running.
