blissey ruins rotom-w with a very similar moveset while taking way less damage and is way more beneficial to the team (can set up SR, better wish passes, can have heal bell) and also can deal the same damage using seismic toss
while your movest can do it’s job against rotom-w, it won’t be the same against other special attacks and blissey can cover the same role and do more
i’m not trying to shit on your moveset and it has some wishful thinking, the first thing you need to think of when making a “creative” moveset is “is there a pokemon who can already do this role?” and in your case, there is, blissey does a much better job (also venusaur, amoongus, and other bulky grass types)
i guess i’ll share the scizor set, the set is called BOPDMS (pronounced bopped ems), it is
Scizor @ Scizorite
Technician / Adamant
252 HP / 216 SpD / 40 Atk
Bullet Punch
U-Turn
Roost
Defog
He is there for team support and team support alone. He works as a bulky spinner who also doubles as a revenge killer. U-turn is there to keep momentum and roost for life. EVs are set up to maximize his bulk. My current observations are that he does his job but not all that well. Bullet Punch is a terrible solo attack and he’s not actually dealing that much damage. Pretty sure only talonflame can run a moveset similar to this but not as well (nowhere close to as much bulk and has a much worse typing)
Meant to put Mirror Coat not mirror move, I guess yall knew what I meant…
tl;dr stuff
That set is like the Penguin set I wanted to run on Empoleon, but it looks better because Scizor has the ability to heal.
Imo, the 40 atk seems like its there for no reason, because both of those attacks do pathetic amounts of damage.
So far, I’ve seen a set like this run by a Latios that uses Draco Meteor and Surf.
That Scizor would be sick on a volt turn team as long as Genesect is still legal on battle sims, ride that gravy train into the ground.
Despite Chansey being able to run counter in place of mirror coat, his physical bulk is entirely too low to consider that viable.
While that set I created is good enough to keep my opponent on their feet, and is definitely a surprise factor, Alomomola is physical set up bait.
I’ve been thinking of replacing the Toxic/Light Screen with Healing Wish so I can kill Alomomola off, so I can pass some health and clear up the statuses of something that can handle a booster.
Alomomola does force switches once people find out it has mirror coat, but I’m a bad battler. Alomomola can definitely be used to outplay someone in the hands of someone more capable lol…
