For the past couple of years, i’ve been at average around 145 ish. Then around July, i dropped to 140. Now lately, been stressed with family and the girlfriend, just been binge eating. For the last two weeks(Aug16- late august)/ And now I’m 150.

Lol I don’t think it is. I’m fascinated by guys that are in great shape/super muscular. I wonder what kind of dedication they have, if they have amazing genes, what their diets like, etc. But lots of insecure guys would say thats “homo”.

Yea…i feel the same way. “homo” is fucking/sucking/fondling another mans dick. The word just gets thown around for free nowadays.
But, biggs i need some advice. Its hard as fuck for me to gain. What do you usually do? I hit the gym 3 times a week. Ive been eatng(shakes, tuna, peanutbutter, fruits, pasta etc.) like crazy…its just i hardly gain a pound. I know its not something that happens instantly but damn…
Something i should add to my diet? Or should i just focus more on power lifting?

Stats: 5’9", 155 lbs, no idea what my body fat % is.
Goals: 1) Get some fuckin’ sun
2) Get my abs to show a lot more
3) Gain 10-15 lbs of muscle
4) Get more definition overall
^Epidemic: I’d say you still aren’t eating enough. An active adult male should be eating at least 2600 calories a day, but for you I’d recommend between 2800-3000 a day. If you lift heavy, you should eat a substantial amount of protein and carbs post-workout. Also, for the amount of protein intake, a rule of thumb is to eat around 1-2 grams of protein for every pound that you weigh… and that’s a shitload of protein.

**Epidemic: **What GRITZ said. I would even go as far as the 4000 calories range or a little above that. Definitely about 250g of protein a day. Basically eating will become a chore. I’d recommend maybe getting a weight gainer from bodybuilding.com or GNC or something as well. As far as lifting, the general rule is lift heavy for mass. So more weight fewer reps. Your diet sounds good, you probably just need to eat more. Trust me its a pain, you have to essentially eat when you’re not even hungry and that fucking sucks.
Yeah Creatine is great for mass, I wasn’t thinking in terms of supplements. Good call TornadoFlame. I can recommend some other mass building supplements if you guys need. I’ve tried a shitload of different supps.
Yes, this is truth right here. I usually go for 1.5 grams per lb and it works out to 230g of protein a day, which is a fucken shitload. Make sure you also eat every couple of hours to maintain a anabolic state so you don’t eat your own muscles away. I eat every 2 or 3 hours. It’s a chore, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

i got 2 free weeks at golds and i found out i qualified for a full membership at my shitty-looking but useful community college gym. so i might join in on this thread. gunna need some protein bars
