SRK and Safari compatibility issues?

Hello SRK,

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with the new SRK site update. I can’t really navigate the site any more. Any time I try to browse throught a thread now, my computer crashes. I tried to post this through the contact us option but that wouldn’t work either. I am running safari 10.4.11. Only one gig of ram. Someone please help. I need my SRK fix!

Yeah, it’s a problem with safari. In large threads, every reply to another post gets shifted further and further to the right. My computer beachballs (freezes) when I open threads, and I have to forcequit.
For now, I’m just using Google Chrome.

The same happens with iPad’s safari. Funny this DID NOT happen with the new site in it’s first days. Something was changed in it’s CSS or something that started all this. Coincidence or not, the layout worked before that sidebar was added to the main forum page.

damn whats the deal before the update srk on my iphone was just fine, now everything is shifted to the right eventually a post are single
letters per line !!!

please fix as it was wonderful to view srk on my iphone.

mods any fix/ update on this issue???

Same here… glad it’s not just me :P… Man, I don’t wanna have to use like, mozilla or chrome :(.

This shit needs to be fixed stat, i use my iphone i pad to surf the web, having SRK not compatible with it burns a hole in my ass. Can we at least get a update on the status from the mods?

Chrome is way better than Safari and Firefox. It’s more secure and runs faster too on my MBP. Firefox is way behind when compared to Chrome.

Its a known issue, it seems to be the ads + safari. We are looking into it.

I hear ya. It’s just my human nature getting in the way :P. When I get used to something I prefer to stick with it… :(. Chrome appeared to have fewer features, but I’ll give it a whirl. Thanks my good sir!

Chrome/Firefox/Safari each have their advantages/disadvantages on OSX. Certain sites i visit will be slow on one of the browsers compared to the others. It applies to all of them. None is superior in every way. Every browser having their own implementation of certain css/html features aint helping, IE of course historically being the worst at adopting standards.

Anyway, this issue seems to me to just be a simple missing </div> tag as i mention here:

I just wanted to chime in. I’m currently on my cousin’s iPad with safari and the indent problem appears to be fixed.
