same thing, but instead of doing HIIT alone, I will also be incorporating a calisthenics program after HITT. I will be going on a strict no process food diet when I eat home. I eat out 2-3 times a week and that will have no soda as well, and anything at home iwll be water and no excess junk.
I’ll get in on this. I’m going to try and be shredded by Halloween.
As far as the sugar stuff goes, that guy is taking in mad sugar, but if that’s all that he’s eating then he’s still not taking in that many calories. The original comment was about the Japanese diet in comparison to an average American’s diet and the main difference is calories and sugar intake.
Count me out, I need to get my life sorted and haven’t figured out if I’m going back to school or what. But if things start moving forward again, I’m going to get a gym membership and start bulking up. Good luck everyone else.
Calories in vs calories out is what determines body composition, regardless of sugar intake. I do eat a lot of carbs but I also get a lot of fiber, we all know that fiber regulates blood sugar. For carbs I eat mostly fruits & veggies, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat crackers and potatoes, all foods that have a lot fiber.
Weight: 170ish depending on the scale
Height: 5’9"
Age: 30
Goal: To look like that dialupsucky nyukkuh. (Lose chubs, put muscle, increase cardio endurance)
Weaknesses: Shitty food and laziness, lack of knowing how to plan my gym days.
Plan: Continue hitting up BJJ, get back to weight lifting/cardio on off days.
[details=Spoiler] Sorry for the bad quality pics was rushing for the deadline!
ate a shit load of food for today for tomorrow the journey begins anew, but this time im using the apple cidar vinegar, grapefruit, and herbal tea assist
if I feel the difference by the end of the month we have a winner
also for those that could not do so, keep in touch; I don’t like to see fellow SRK brethren down
since I dont have access at work anymore I can update periodically, still going to run this regardless
Hi! Sorry a couple of hours late. Working away so getting hold of scales etc was a pain. Hope it still counts!
I started the diet and sleep regime already, but workout starts now.
Stats:
[details=Spoiler]
Weight: 195 lbs
Height: 6’0
Age: 26
Goal: A lean 190 “useful weight”
Weakness: Energy drinks, takeout, plane food, vidya games
Story: Worked up on the West Coast of Glasgow with a lifestyle of football, rock climbing, running and changing aircraft wheels in the snow and rain; big calorie burns. Moved to a supervisory role in London, meaning the same high calorie diet without the exercise, plus 1000 miles a week commuting, energy drinks, takeout and ready-meals with “no time” to burn it off.
Plan: No excuses, no energy drinks, no takeout, planned & scheduled home-cooked eating, scheduled sleeping, not using the car on days off, running twice a week, kettle bell routine twice a week, bodyweight exercises twice a week[/details]
Thanks for the compliment dude, and good luck always try to be the best person you can be everyday and find a perspective that keeps you going towards that goal.
I already posted the pics, and IIRC my stats. Don’t have a scale to weigh myself, but I also said what I was going to do. More of the same, but forced diet and calisthenics after HIIT>=.
