The thing I don’t get is why people would want Juri over Viper? That just makes noo sense to me Viper was made for MvC

If her white-suit had a shirt that wasn’t such a dumb colour (weird shade of blue,) then I would use it.
As it is, though, I’ll have to stick to default…

The alt colors aren’t too great for Viper, though I think I’ll use Blue and White. I’m liking that one the best.

Do we have a command list for Viper yet? I’m curious as to what they’re doing with there only being 3 attack buttons and all.

SRK front page has some new Marn Viper vids. He’s using the team composition I mentioned earlier in this thread. Trap Based Assist (Doom), Viper, Someone who can blow the meter but also has a good AAA (Dante).

You can hear Marn say that the BK assist is an overhead. That is pretty sweet and you can probably set up some good unblockables with the right team. It puts them in a juggle state too but not sure if you can combo off of it if it hits them on the ground. You might be able to combo off of it if you hit them with it while they are in the air. It also comes out relative to your position. Marn was pressuring with Zero calls Viper Assist and overhead BK’s. The FTK AAA looks pretty limited and in comparison to Dante’s Jam Session AAA you might as well use Seismo or BK assist. Both of those look like they can control some space but the BK assist gives more pressure opportunities plus unblockable setups. I don’t know, right now it seems like BK is the go-to assist for Viper but I think there might be some use with the Seismo assist.

Dante’s Jam Session special looks fucking ridiculous with those hit boxes. Captain Corridor indeed.

Those the new ones up today that I haven’t looked at yet? Because all I’ve seen from marn is Zero/Viper/XXX (He seems to be playing the ‘how well can I do with these guys individually’ style >>)

Yeah the new ones today on the front page. Also, DHCing to Viper realllllllyyyy sucks on block. You basically get her TK super or Burst Time neither of which are safe on block so you got to blow another meter to tag her out safely.

I really am not a big fan of Viper usually, but its hard to resist wanting to play her in this one.

Edit: Actually has anyone tried that? In one of the clips Marn did a mp.TK XX ex.TK, so maybe they’re actually treated as supers.

TK= QCF+At
Burning Kick= QCB+At
EX= Motion+At+E
Feinting BKs and TKs= A+E after input
Focus attack= A+E

also, does she has an ex seimo? like in sf4

I was thinking, with how stuffable hypers are and how fast seismo is, can she stuff at least slow ones on reaction?

thanks, i was a little worried because i havent seen her used an EX seimo in any of her videos yet. If it stay true like in sf4, maybe the ex seimo can juggle so you can connect a super afterward.

I want to know if you can juggle Burst Time after an OTG Seismo.
If you can then I want to try a variation of the combo shown in the reveal trailer. Something like c.jab. c.forward, c.Fierce, Launcher, IAD, j.Forward, j.Fierce, land, OTG Seismo, Burst Time. I want to see how far I can take that combo with a relaunch combo before it becomes impossible to combo into Super.
