Anyway, i’m liking what i’ve seen of Viper so far.
I dont get what people are bitching about spending a meter on ex tk…people spend meter on utility shit all the time, DHC for a safe switch, alpha counter to tag out in the heat of the moment, so why is it hard to spend a bar on something that can go through projectiles and crumple AND give you a free combo???
Ex seem awesome to me, just that much more options compared to other characters.
Having all these things is kinda weird though, like viper is playing a totally different game than the other characters.
Is this the first time ever in a Vs game that a specific character uses meter for a specific, unique thing? I think that’s why everyone is so antsy as in Vs the chracter is buffed from the start
Now I ain’t saying she a gold digger… but she ain’t messing wit’ no meterless nigga.
Because you still need that standard utility shit for purposes that EX moves aren’t gonna cover. Like safe switching. Standard equivalent to a EX if it costs one meter is a Hyper combo. EX moves better be godlike as shit if they’re going to serve the same purpose as a Hyper, since they clearly aren’t going to do as much damage, and can’t be DHC’d for a safe switch.
EX TK giving you a free combo after you blow through a projectile is definitely good shit, but it costing a full bar makes me look at it less like “That move is so Pringles!” and more like “If it costs that much to do, it better damn well be that good! Make me a sammich while you’re at it!”
In the end though, it all comes down to how important the EX moves end up being to her game. If she’s thorough without it, EX moves will just be icing on the cake that you whip out at the right opportunity. If her A-game ends up being dependent on it, she’ll probably end up as the worst meter whore in Marvel history. Like, more reliant on meter than Cable type.

EX Thunder Knuckles passes through projectiles and crumbles for easy combo.
EX Burning Kick had a bigger range and did more damage, so good against a airborne character whose basic attack range greater(Dante, for one) and deals more damage than expected
And wasn’t EX Seismo the AA one at that? So when jumping can hit them as well.
I hope the Geysers shown are standard and not EX.

On hindsight, I’m kinda dissapointed that she doesn’t have flight mode, and no boob grab electrification throw either.
Why would she have flight??
