No videos of the matches =/ Only way I can think of to do it good would be to hook up my 360 to my comp via a dazzle then do component out of my comp to a tv, and thats a lot of work (i’m sure ther eis a better way, but thats the only one i could think of i had the stuff for).
Anyway, we had 14 players, which I thought was awesome for a sf2 tournament, at midnight, in springfield. I’ve got a list at work of who everyone was playing, but the tops were
1)Ryu
2)Chun-li
3)Balrog
4/5)T.Hawk
4/5)Blanka
Pretty diverse field. Aside from the 3 Blankas everyone was playing different characters. Hope to have a double feature hdr/4 tournament the saturday after 4 comes out, so that should be awesome.
Reminder that February 21st, Street Fighter IV tourament (xbox 360). $5 entry fee, all entry goes back out in cash. Double elimination. 6PM Start time.
I may actually have to schedule the SF4 tourney for the 28th, since it looks like Gamestop may be running an event the 21st, and I could go there and get more interested people amidst the hype.
im good for the weekend of the 28th. i have that weekend off. time for some out of towners to collect his due. if at all possible, i will need a place to crash unless u reside near missouri state college.
weeks, you should go that weekend also. it’ll be good to meet up again. its been like what? 3 years? damn damn. ill play marvel with ya. ITS MARVAHL BABY! i still suck at all fighting games
hahah i wish i could man but my weekend schedule is super busy. omfg, i can’t get off in that short of notice. i literally work 32 hours on the weekend
For anyone curious about in town tournaments, looks like there will be a few in February. The Gamestop on Independence (by the Walmart and Kohls) will have a HD Remix tournament from 9-Midnight to give people something to do while waiting on SFIV at midnight. The Gamestop at Battlefield and Glenstone will be having a SFIV tournament February 21st (no custom settings or controllers tho). Dunno when that one will start. And Meta-Games will be having a SFIV tournament February 28th at 6PM. The Game Stop ones from what I understand are free, while the Meta-Games one will have a $5 entry.
