Springfield, MO - No, really, we play fighting games here!

Anyone else gonna come to drunk ninjas place if he hosts?

Well, he lives a pretty fair way out of town. What time you doing that Torrey?

Anytime, really. As I mentioned, I have the whole day free. Just shoot me a PM or call or text if you wanna come by. Best time may be early afternoon since I might be sleeping the whole morning, lol.

Though if anyone needs a set time, I dunno, I guess 1-3PM arrival time may work best, but I’m open to anything.

Still waiting to get everyone together to hold that Street Fighter II Pinball tournament I’ve been wanting to do for the last year

Thanks again Josh for the awesome console. Torrey, I don’t think anyone wants my cold right now. I’ll have to skip out. Unless some miracle happens by tomorrow, doubt I will make it.

Add me on Xbox live: hypnautix

You should just bring it by Meta on Mondays. I’d totally do a tourney with you.

Unless Torrey starts driving a pickup and gets Mondays off of work, I highly doubt we’ll ever see a SF2 Pinball machine in the game area of Meta.

Torrey, can you pm me your # and address?

You’re welcome Sang. I hope you get some mileage out of it.

The only way to do infinites in this game.

Out of curiosity do you still have that copy of KOF XIII for sale?

Anybody in Springfield who would like to have some matches in the afternoon or evening: tonight,Thursday, or Tuesday hit me up. I usually have an hour between classes at night.

Hey Sang, I’ll send you an invite later tonight. Gamertag: Saikyo Seth

Been having fun messing around in SFxT. But I’m game for older titles as well. Can’t really play much in the evenings but I’m around during the day. Just send a message.

I do. Floating around somewhere.

well all I got so far is street figther 4 ae. I don’t have any other fighting games yet.

Here are a couple of links to the KOF input shortcuts. Anybody have any tips to landing Terry’s trial 3?

For anyoen interested, I’ll be heading up to Max Out myself onthe 19th, also going to run a side mystery game tournament, so come on along to joing in the hype! It’ll be worth it

I’m am not going to be able to attend max out until July. Torrey, what are you doing this saturday? We should get some games in. My place or your place, doesn’t matter.

Got some mother’s day-related stuff going on, so I won’t be free sadly. I may shoot you an invite for some games if I see you online.

This is it! Only one week remains to register for UFGT8, which goes down from May 25th to the 27th in Chicago / Northbrook, IL. If you choose to register at the door, it will cost $10 more than it does right now, and you will not be seeded regionally or by skill. Here are just a few of the reasons you need to be at UFGT8:

-Fun and Games corner, including Super Balrog Ball and DIVEKICK, to keep you busy winning prizes between your pool assignments.
-Community panels, including discussions hosted by Justin Wong, Iron Galaxy Studios, and Victor “Sp00ky” Fontanz
-Cheap trip! Hotel rooms are only $69 a night, and parking is free.
-Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown beta and free tournament; the midwest’s first chance to play FS!
-FOUR Character Auction side events; SSF4AE, KoF13, SFxT, and UMvC3
-The Ultimate Payout System, which scales payouts and bonuses with the number of entries in a game, and pays out roughly the top 10% of entries
-Cash bonuses in SSF4AE, UMvC3, and SCV provided by EVO. Cash bonus in MK9 provided by WB/NRS. Cash bonus and custom arcade stick prize in Skullgirls, provided by Autumn Games.
-Infinity Gauntlet trophies for 1st place in SSF4AE, UMvC3, SFxT, SCV, SG, MK9, KoF13, Mystery Game Tournament, Super Balrog Ball Tournament, and Divekick Tournament.
-Over 80 raffle prizes, including nearly 40 arcade sticks. Everyone who pre-registers is automatically in the Door Prize Raffle, everyone who attends panels gets tickets to the Panel Raffle, and anyone who plays in the Fun and Games corner gets Fun and Games Raffle Tickets.
-Every setup, provided by Focus Fire, runs on an “EVO” Asus monitor.

Head over to http://ufgt.us/ and click Register to get it taken care of. Preliminary pool assignments (subject to change) will be available online on May 21st for review, and you’ll have a day or so to spot regional seeding problems and get them to me. The final set of pool assignments will be available on May 23rd. See you guys in just under two weeks, and please travel safely to Chicago.

I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to UFGT8. This makes me sad, as I am more hype for DIVEKICK than I was for the birth of my son.
