Anything going on in Springfield during the holiday break?
How do you guys feel about a Vergil-Wesker(samurai edge) team? Man, the mixup priority is insane and they lead to 100% combos if you throw tech wrong or not at all. Im trying to mix and match my team to fit the situation, but if C.V gets touched ONCE, its a wrap.
also with Nemesis as anchor makes it pretty crazy if hes using up the meter.Nova can only do so much zoning with the G.reflector before the teleporters(wesker-Vergoil) move in. I went down to Games etc. at the end of the night to play that team and it was hilarious losing to that team.
If the C.V/Nova/Sent team isn’t working im going to have to find something good enough to fend off that team until its patched. Im thinking about using that Vergil-Wesker combination, since its easy to use

I havent really seen that mixup you are talking about but I really don’t think Vergil is easy to use at all.

One would be after knockdown, right when you wake up and try to block, Vergil will use ‘M teleport’ with Wesker’s samurai edge assist having you block in the direction of a cross-up, then he’ll ‘L Teleport’, which will keep him in place making you walk forward or put you in offensive guard to get the first hit to combo. it’s simple, but effective even if you try to roll out.
Idk man, I think the hardest thing about using Vergil are trying to do his Spiral Sword combos

I hopped online for the first time in UMvC3. I dont want to explain how shitty it is online, felt like i needed to break something after about 3 matches. dat saltyness
I don’t think Ultimate’s online is that bad. I think it is marginally better than vanilla. I think the difference between 3 and 4 bars is noticeable though. It’s a big step down to 3 bars imo.
I disagree on some salty shit. You can indeed do your bnbs, block, provided that lag spikes dont happen so you wont get opened up. now that teleport characters have a right-away in this game(if they didnt before), its taken to a different extreme online. your basic teleport teams will always catch you in a lag-buffered combo thanks to input lag. If KOF can patch their netplay, capcom should also because not everyone has local play availabilty to rely on to half-ass leveling up.
Speaking of KOF, I just picked it up yesterday. I put one of dem CDs in the whip and all of a sudden im bumpin asian swagged out fighting game music smh. You guys on KOF13?
I’ve been playing KoF, just training mode though. I’m terrible but would love to learn to play the game properly since it seems very rewarding for doing so.
I also have KOF but I’ll start playing it more once the netcode patch is released.
