I’m just excited about Bone Girls.
It’s Skull Chicks you retard.
Ummm excuse me but these are HISPANIC videos??? Umm hello?! Neither me nor any of my relatives (from whom I procure these videos from) are from Spain, clearly. Thank you and get learned.
Oh hey:
Skele Ladies anyone
Bone women?
I’m actually looking forward to Cranial Females.
Real talk, its all the same, stay free…geography.
Wow good to see Springfield up and running again. To bad I’m stationed in Japan for another year has anyone see Gonzalez or the zoob?
Gonzalez passed away in a terrible accident.
We’re talking about Speedy Gonzalez right? We don’t have anyone named Gonzalez that is any relevance to us in this day and age right? No one that has made any meaning contribution to the scene in any way? Theres no way we could of had someone around who contributed anything and completly been dropped off the face of the planet. No way.
BTW Lobby is up now for anyone down to play Noggin’ Chicas.
Real talk, none of us has really seen or heard from Gonz in a bit. I don’t think he plays fighters anymore. As for Zoob, he’s still around. I don’t think he posts on SRK. He posts more on Dustloop.
Oh well I see. Well keep the Springfield scene going! I can’t wait to go back to the states and get back into the scene
Gonz said he’ll be back someday. Heard from him recently, and he is apparently doing alright, but doesn’t play fighters very much.
As kona said, Zoob is around and posts more on Dustloop.
Fade Dash heres the photo of the skull girls roster.

Anyone here go to central or went to central?
I’ve been playing Mortal Kombat lately, I’m pretty pleased with it. It’s enjoyable, so I’m curious if anyone around is up for some playing. Westfield/Agawam area would be nice, but I’ll travel as far as Springfield.
^The thing is that no one is really hosting any meetups in the springfield area, so most of it is kind of isolated impromptu gatherings with only a few of us at a time. It doesn’t help that people are mad picky about which of the games they play, so some of the gatherings are rather one sided in terms of what’s being played. Dunno when things will improve, but I would recommend coming down at the first sight of a major springfield gathering and meeting everyone so that you can start coming down to the more isolated gatherings to play.
I think I have pretty much watched every SFxT video that has been made thus far and Im extremely excited. I love how gorgeous the game looks (I showed Justo some of the on Demand SFxT videos in my HD cable box and he agreed shit is mad beautiful). Aesthetics aside, while videos of most of the tekken cast (besides Hwo and Kaz) are hard to come by, I still have noticed a lot of detail put into their move lists that I’m happy to see. Not only do the Tekken characters look fantastic with their applied street fighter sensibilities, but Ono’s team looks to be hard at work with making them as authentic as possible within the 2D constrains. Seeing things like Hwo JF Skyscraper as his reversal or even semi obscure moves like King’s Jaguar Step (a spinning special movement King had which he could transition from into several tricky attacks or initiate a throw chain attempt. Rather useless in high level but a move with lots of personality) made me pleased with their level of commitment. It helps to feed my excitement that most people who have contributed opinions about their playtime seem to think that it’s an extreme amount of fun.
The one thing that seems to be on everyone’s mind is that most characters seem to homogenically flow into the Magic series of A,B,C into tag launcher. From all that I have heard read and seen, I don’t expect this to be a predominant trend in higher level play after the game is released. For one, damage is relatively scaled and low on these types of combos, and they don’t seem to be scary at all in that regard. Furthermore, most people who have played the game seem cognizant that most characters, especially on the Tekken side are capable of a lot more. I think the A,B,C mechanic is in there to give newer players a basic combo they can depend on, but I’m fairly sure that once people learn more, the high level combos will involve more links or strings long before the character has ever been tagged and even plenty of very damaging solo combos as well.
About individual characters of interest:
Hworang was not one of my favorite characters in Tekken and he’s one of the few characters I seldom used if at all. I didn’t particularly hate him I just didn’t care for learning him for the most part. And yet interestingly enough, he is by far one of my favorite SFxT characters. I love the way they captured his moves in 2D, and I do expect him to have an extremely effective and tricky poking game. As a bonus, motherfucker has a divekick now! Insane! Definately looking forward to trying him and I know Ken is too. JF Skyscrapers on wakeup!
Kazuya is just manly. Loving his Ultra, the way his crouch dash works and definately digging some early samples of his pressure game up close.
and then there’s Cammy. It’s Super Cammy, what else is there to say.
Too bad it will be a little under a year before we can play, but I do hope the Springfield crew might consider organizing a trip up to one of the capcom events at some point to get a good look at the game. I would love to be able to try it at some point before then.
I will be that guy who hates every new game that comes out because i hate jumping from game to game. SFxTekken is ass you heard it here first
^ Anything that lets Cammy TKCS is A-OK in my book lol
The game does let you juggle, rekkas after flame kick maybe? Into a super? And yes Fei Long will be in for Law.
