I’ve had people seed me in easier brackets st tourneys because they know me. This happens all the time. Probably even locally. That’s how the world works.
It is quite the read and it does take a bit to read the whole thing lol.
I’m to busy procrastinating school work. And Pat, its more than a bracket switch. He asked to be swapped in top 8. Thats a little late to be asking for a change in brackets. He also pretty much threw the matches to Noel Brown. At least I think so. We may never know though.

I imagine it was pool play, and regardless, top 8 is to late to be asking not to fight someone. If me and you or me and pj or doug or anyone who i normally play had to face off in top 8 and the tourney was only 40 man, i’ve still had maybe 3 fights against other people by then.
Any tourney I have ever attended locally with less than 16 I’ve made sure I get seeded against random people and then knock friends out in finals. You were the only queer to upset me @ MVC3 launch night even tho there was like 7 of us.
also i’m gonna do a meetup Sunday afternoon I think. MVC3/MK9/Super. Pancho has another TV for us and I’ve got a big surpries for everyone! Not my penis this time.
Thats my point, he asked not to play PR Rog because they had played against each other in another tourney recently. Thats really not a good enough reason. Thats not even what he got shit for, its the tourney organizer who allowed it, he got shit for throwing the match to Noel.
When like 50% of tournaments end up with people splitting pot you’ve got a problem anyways. Theres no way to prevent it really but still obnoxious. Check my stream ! 1 1 .,

What people do with the money they’ve won isn’t really an issue. It’s throwing matches to give your friend Evo seeding points which is really shitty. Especially when we are trying to make the FGC look respectable.
Also, as a rule of thumb, I would never ask to have my match changed after the second round. Especially not in the top 8. That’s also super shitty sportsmanship.
I don’t have a problem with people splitting the cash in small venues etc, but in most competitive atmospheres no one does this. Most comp. gaming communities don’t do this either. Its just one of the many problems fighters have.
If I ever make the finals and know the person, we’re playing with our feet.
i’ve split the pot the last like 4 tourneys i took 1st or 2nd in, but it was always under the condition that we play it out to see who wins. imo there is nothing wrong with that, but throwing shit to let your friend get better seed points, and also floating that late into a tourney is unaccecptable /wolverine. doug would love to do that with me as i’ve played him in every tourney ever, but thats only because 9 times out of 10 we both end up playing pretty deep into the tourney
