I woudnt really drop Vergil, he’s too good. That’s like if you were working and the show undercover boss would go to your company and you were one of the employees they were following around. Your boss sees all the hardwork you put in but you get stuck getting paid minimum wage. He then reveals to you that he is your boss and also a velociraptor abd proceeds to eat you and then you die.
BrawlKarter is running a tournament at a bar near Fenway on Saturday, the 30th (which is the weekend before Evo). They’ll have SSFIVAE2012, UMvC3, SG, and KoFXIII. Looks like it will be awesome. Gogogo!
Your assumption was completely wrong. Using your thumbs it’s completely impossible. It’s less impossible if you hold the pad in a faux-arcade-stick manner, but it’s still more trouble than it’s worth. That’s why I’m dropping Mr. Teal Coat until I scrounge up enough money for a stick.
Try mapping :l: to a shoulder/trigger button so you can hold it down with the left hand and then still have access to the other buttons on your right hand.
But even getting past my total exposure, I really am getting bored of Vergil’s playstyle. I’m just not having fun with him anymore.
I wanna learn Magneto, despite the fact that I can’t flight cancel to save my life. You’d think I’d have learned my lesson after getting totally blown up with Morrigan, LOL.
You don’t have to flight cancel with Magneto as much as you would have to do with Morrigan. You’d only have to do it once per combo and during a blockstring which is just as easy as cancelling into a Hadoken. What you do have to learn is dash cancelling. I’ve seen plenty of pad Magnetos so it’s perfectly possible to play him on pad. It’ll be much trickier but I’d suggest mapping a dash button which will make it easier for pad players to dash cancel. Plus, he’s a fun fuckin character.
I’m far better at dash cancelling, so that’s really good to hear. Guess I just might take him into the lab after all. Plus Disruptor will be a gigantic help to ol’ Ghostie.
