Did you touch the Grand National? Dont push It was 18s on Betfair! 10-1 at the normal bookies. I was given a tip for just about every horse, so left it alone. I usually dutch any horse that has won at the course or that distance but couldnt be bothered this year. Its far too random.
You know what, I did have a wager on Celtic but I felt so badly about it I had it hedged off by other games - I am lucky those ones came through, big time. Today I was able to make back what I lost all week and I hit my quota as well. Phew…thank god for clean slates.
You know…I bet on a bunch of things that I have no business betting on but I refuse to touch horses. There is just too much to know with the trainers, riders, horse upkeep etc that it is too difficult to gain info on unless you know inside (as you may have). Without any conceivable knowledge or means of attaining it, I cannot make that bet. Which kind of sucks because here in Ontario, Canada we do have some big races in the season. But yeah…I have enough to bet on with baseball just starting and World Cup around the corner.

Regarding tomorrow’s EPL. Man City is actually getting decent value at home against Birmingham. I want to think that is a trap game but Man City has something to prove at home and they are healthy. I am going to medium wager a parlay of Man City, Man U, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Valencia. Probably pissing money away on this one but I’ll take the chance.
Valencia is getting 3:1 at Mallorca and I just want a piece of it. Valencia is a fantastic team (David Villa!!) but they either win like they are supposed to by 2 goal margins or they crap out and lose to scrubs. They consistently get good odds so it’s really a matter of keeping track and making a play when they ‘owe’ you.
And no…I have not kept proper records. Bodog tracks up to 2 weeks only. I tend not to make very out there bets so the ones and the ones that bit me in the ass I remember how and why. For me it’s all about remembering why and how I made the bets. It’s mental conditioning more so than bet history. How do I put this…I treat gambling the same way as day to day decision making. There are right and wrong choices, how do I limit them? I am sure some point in time I can write a thesis on the topic - I just need to be able to realize it first 
Mavs and Warriors just closed out my last wager for the day. I had a big stake on it too. So glad that I took a marginal hit on value by rounding the spread on the Warriors from +2.5 to the full +3pts - they lost by 3 points exactly meaning they covered =D

I got royally boned earlier this week with Sevilla, Flamengo and Sporting + playoff hockey. My losses have recovered a bit from Yids over Arsenal and Real + Valencia yesterday. Inter made me a little bit today too - I was very wary about this game but I bet anyways.
It has been a loss week so far. I had a lot of paper going into Sevilla and hockey so that really burned. This weekend is a little scary to bet. Valencia is getting 6:1 on the road against Real and Man City is home at 2.3:1 against United.
I have hockey and baseball going tonight so depending how that goes, I can still meet half of my quota…still good considering the losses I took!

So I totally did not have the balls to take any stake on Man City v. Man U or Tottenham v. Chelsea.
Hockey saved me last night but I imnmediately lost half of it back thanks to Birmingham…but I have just checked baseball lines and in-game betting has just recouped that. The ultra safe games have been killing me and the safety bets are giving me a good hedge, at least.
I am still thinking about Valencia. The money isn’t too good for the lay. I might throw a small stake on Valencia and a draw. We have 2 high power offenses with no defence on either side. Valencia has to be due for some kind of achievement…they just keep getting shitted on!
I have a good amount of money tied up today so depending how it ends up I might partake in Series A tomorrow. Fiorentina and Roma both away are getting mighty good odds - worth a dive.

I had a medium stake on Barca and that got blown out of the water. I made good with New Castle and Mallorca earlier in the week and today with Bayern and Aston Villa however I keep breaking even for the last 2 weeks because of retarded playoff hockey. I have to admit it is becoming a bit frustrating.
