Thanks for coming guys. That was a great turnout for our first time and it was awesome to finally meet all of you (and special guests Tim and Alex).
For those who couldn’t make it, we had six players total (plus a few spectators) and two setups going. Looking forward to the next one!
I am thinking the next gathering will be either January 7th or 8th, so I have a question for all of you guys. Do Fridays or Saturdays typically work better for you?
Also, for those that came I am open to any and all suggestions on how to make this better. I’m thinking a tournament isn’t very likely until we have at least a few more people, so we will just have to continue with casuals for now.
Personally fridays work better for me, since my wife doesn’t like giving up weekend days to be with me crackofthewhip. She would probably flip out if I asked to hang out with the guys on a saturday night. Navy lifestyle has made her very clingy 
I can’t really think of much for making it better…once we got the 2nd setup going we all got a lot more play in. If we got to the point of needing a 3rd setup I have it covered except I only have 1 TE stick, but I think babalootsuit plays on ps3 too.
And I agree 6 is too few for a tournament, I think we should shoot for 8 minimum. Once winter quarter starts I’ll try contacting the sfcc and ewu gamer’s clubs to try and spark some interest.
Oi fun times last night. thank you and your wife a billion fold for hosting. as for making better, i just think a 3rd set up is fine(with some tekken for my ADD =P)… ill bring my ps3 and TE if someone could spare another stick, and a third TV(maybe a HDMI cord too, mine has seen better days)

I’m fine with other games on a third setup. We can probably set that up in the dining room pretty easily, and setup #2 will be better next time because we won’t have the Christmas tree there. Ronny won’t be here next time so we will need someone else to provide another console.
I think Dereck and Jason might be the only ones who want to play Tekken though
I’m up for playing HD Remix or MvC2 though as long as none of you are crazy Magneto/Storm/Sentinal players, haha.
The tentative date for the next meeting is Friday, January 7th. I will post something more “official” soon. There were a couple people posting in this thread who go to EWU who never responded about our last meeting, so hopefully they can make it next time. There’s also a guy in Liberty Lake (Zerxion) who didn’t respond. I sent them PMs about last Friday but no dice.

Sweet, looks like I can come to the next meeting. Right now I’ve been away on holiday so I couldn’t make it to the last. I can also bring my 360 and have Super, HDR, MvC2, and BB. With only 2 controllers though (own no sticks, sorry).
Awesome, glad to hear you can make it. I don’t think any of us were using sticks though so we would have to see who else can bring sticks.
We have three players (I think) who are on PS3 so we may have to do one X-Box setup and two PS3 setups. We will have to do an equipment checklist when we get closer to game time to make sure we are covered.
Dereck suggested that I update the OP with the relevant information on the next meeting, so I have. I’ll post it here as well:

Our next meeting is January 7th. Here are the details so far:
Where: My house
Time: 7:00 PM
Games: SSF4 + whatever we can agree on (BB, MvC2, HDR, Tekken)
Setups: 2, hopefully 3.
Since Ronny can’t come to the next meeting, we need some other people to step up to the plate as far as providing equipment. Here is what I can provide:
(1) X-Box
(2) TE sticks
(2) TVs
I’m fine with PS3 setups, we just need to make sure we have a full station (i.e. two sticks per setup). So I need you guys to let me know about two simple things:
a) If you can come
b) What you can bring
At a minimum, we need (1) additional console and (2) sticks (which hopefully Dereck can provide) to have a second setup. If we can get enough stuff for a third setup though, that’s great! Zerxion offered to bring his X-Box but someone else would have to provide the sticks.
