Gimpy - just read MvC3 was patched again, Cap’s infinite is out. Thoughts?
I won’t be able to bring my system since I am driving up from Pullman tonight. I am only up in CDA for the weekend to attend a friends wedding.

That’s funny that you were at the career fair at EWU; I probably walked right past you, but I am a CS guy and I didn’t bother talking to anyone because I barely started the program.
Heh, I actually talked to several computer science majors. Most of them came to talk to f5 (the company we were next to) and ended up asking us what our company did. We were only look for mechanical engineering students though.

I just realized I got to CDA and found out I forgot to put the sticks in the car. 
Saw it coming! Didn’t see that lasting so I didn’t really practice it - I’m not upset its gone. Probably more pleased than upset - it was verya very ugly and boring infinite lol
Totally agreed. Very ugly, and very boring. I think he and Ryu deserve a double jump though.

I think my living room is approaching critical mass.
cap’s double jump was meant to be in - apparently it was removed at marvel’s request - not because of something capcom wanted. bummer, right?

so how was the festival of marvel and street fighter last friday?

To go into a little more detail though, it was a lot of fun and we actually had a good amount of people playing SSF4 which was nice since that game hasn’t been getting much love lately!
The big concern though is that I’m running out of room. I’m considering moving things to the basement because there is a bit more space and it will stay cooler (my thermostat goes up 5-6 degrees if we don’t leave a door open). A slight concern is we lose the couch space and the big TV upstairs, so I might have to invest in some folding chairs. I’d like to avoid splitting everyone up by having setups upstairs and downstairs.
Right now my basement is a wreck though (roommates moved out so we are redoing it) so that is still a ways off. We might be finished by the time we host the next one though. We will have a wall-mounted 37" TV down there so the loss of the upstairs TV isn’t a huge deal.

so what’s new with spokane? anybody using any new teams or come up with some new dhc or tight combo or anything?! who’s out there being creative?
also hows the street fighter going? sounds like people started playing again last friday at least a bit - anybody excited about AE?

Haha, yeah, I forgot about that. There’s a nice dent in it now, likely from my head.
I don’t think I really saw any new teams except Ben was using She-Hulk in place of Ammy (maybe that’s old news though). I hadn’t played with a lot of these guys before though so I don’t know of anything real new. I’m just waiting for one of you to play an awesome Viewtiful Joe!
Troy was still beasting in SSF4, Eric played MvC3 for the first time and I don’t think he was too crazy about it, heh.
Of course I’m excited about AE though I’m really hoping there are two more characters. Not really looking forward to the Yun & Yang army though.
Ronny had my number all night last Friday. No matter what I did I couldn’t beat him at anything. Usually we play a rather tight game at both Marvel and SF4.
Although there were a couple times I slapped my head for making stupid errors. I guess that is the problem with playing good players is you have to be on your game all the time.
Think I may actually have to practice SF4 again. >_<
Anyone getting Mortal Kombat? I was interested in this, but not enough to buy it. / Can’t.

I don’t think I’m going to pick up Mortal Kombat. I’ve always liked the characters but not so much the gameplay.
Having a block button is just too weird for me
if i could play it on a gamecube controller i’d be down haha
