Ammy and Skrull DHC pretty well together. You should be able to go from either of skrull’s hypers to ammy’s and probably from ammy’s to skrull’s if you are closer than half screen. I think you should be able to DHC to skrull’s lvl 3 from ammy too. Haggar and Hulk both have really good assists. Try out all of them and see what you like. It seems like all three should work.
you should TOTALLY play skrull because NOBODY over here plays him and he has some potential for SURE.

OMG, online play is so dumb. Get beat by the most braindead She Hulk over and over because I kept missing blocks and punishes.
BTW, working on some sick sentinel stuff. Most of it only applies to corners, but that’s okay because Sent can get people in the corner way too easily with DHC glitch and combos off of HSF.
Another thing I’m thinking about it XFC out of blockstun into launcher. I think it will be a great answer to something like Akuma tatsu. Does standing S have hyper armor throughout the entire move?
I might be wrong but I think it has a couple frames during startup where it is vulnerable. Also, I agree that online play is dumb.

alright people so it’s my 24th birthday tomorrow and i want to have an excuse to have another session so i’m gonna have a birthday party at my place this week probably thursday but i might delay it because of friday’s session. I’m really not sure. I’d want to have a setup for all the games I play and I MIGHT (if i can arrange it) put this event in one of the residence halls where we will have WAY more room to do this and we can hopefully get a setup for street fighter marvel and melee (but none of you care about that last one as far as i know haha)
anyway, let me know if this thursday works for any of you, if I get more interest I can also change it to be NEXT friday (not this upcoming one but on the 22nd)

How would you guys feel about playing Akatsuki Blitzkampf? It’s pretty much the best fighting game starring nazis, tanks, and nuns around. It’s easy to pick up and has a bit of a Street Fighter feel to it. It also has a playstyle for everyone: Rushing, zoning, footsie, grabs are good too.

Heh, I just looked up some videos on YouTube and I can’t say I’m too interested. Although, for fighting games in the category of “starring nazis, tanks, and nuns” I’m certain it is top of it’s class

I think I might have to have a session this thursday - i have chips and dip and some snacks and the like for a mini birthday party - i’ll see if we can use the dorms but i at least have SOME interest in doing that. BTW I got a 3ds for my birthday and it’s the greatest thing i’ve ever seen.
I still haven’t seen a 3ds IRL yet. What does the 3d look like?

Gimpy - won’t be able to make it out there on Thursday, weeknights just aren’t good for me. I hope you have a great birthday though! The 3DS looks pretty sick but the launch titles seem lacking. I’m sure within the next year or so we’ll have some awesome games though.

PS. Akatsuki Blitzkampf is a PC game that came out in about 2007.
A PC-only fighter? Those are pretty rare.
It looks like it could be fun but I just don’t see myself devoting any time to another fighting game. BlazBlue and MvC3 didn’t last long, even SFxT is going to be a stretch.
