Not sure on when the next one will be, but I think the soonest I could do it would be two weeks from now, so let’s plan on that for the time being. So that’s Jan. 28th, 7:00 PM. I’ll let you know if this needs to change. I’ll post something more official in the coming weeks.
Mike - if you could bring your TV, PS3, and sticks again that’d be great! It sounds like we’ll have at least a couple more than last time so I think we’ll definitely need a third setup. Ronny will be back but Troy will be gone, so I guess we break even there :wgrin:

I forgot to post this because I have been busy this last week, but thanks for hosting us. It was fun to stop by, play some games, and just chat with everyone. You and your wife make excellent hosts.
I’ll probably dabble in some MvC3 but I have to honestly say that in the end I’ll probably stick with SSF4 as my primary game. Who knows though
A question for you guys: would you at all be interested in getting together to watch the finals of high profile tournaments as they’re streamed live? I got Christi to watch a couple and she really enjoys it so we’ve started trying to catch at least the Top 8 matches whenever they are streamed. We usually stream on our laptop but connect it to the big screen so it’s pretty much like watching a sporting event.
For those of you who don’t really watch the live streams, typically tournaments start on Fridays or Saturdays and the finals matches (top 8 players) are saved to be played out on Sunday evenings. The top 8 matches usually take around 2-3 hours.
Anyway, I just thought that might be fun to just chat, relax, drink some beer, eat some food, and enjoy the show. I’m pretty sure there are some big tournaments occurring before EVO but EVO would definitely be one to watch.

It was just me and Eric (oldbean) playing the other day - really late notice for cheney playing so nobody really came. no biggie.
I’ll be hosting some stuff at the school and at my place though once MVC3 comes out - I record and upload a lot of videos to my youtube so i’ll be looking forward to maybe doing some of that.
