Hi,
I want to use a DVD recorder to record during casual gaming sessions, but DVD recorders in general have a slight delay. That’s why I want to split the source signal (composite or S-Video) into two of the same so I have a signal for both the tv and recorder seperately.
I’m still considering using a VCR for this instead since then I can avoid the whole splitting ordeal, but I’m concerned about the quality.
How do other ppl solve this problem? Also, related questions:
-How is Arcade signal usually recorded and displayed at the same time?
-How do Versus City Cabs have two signals from the same source without the signal degrading? Does the cabinet come with an amp/splitter or is it an unamplified physical split?
