I wanted to translate it before posting it, but seeing how this may not come as soon as I’d like, I’ll show it like it is, and provide a translation.

Man that’s awesome, are you going to school for animation or something?
nice, although i think you should show more impact for the SPD by having him go off the screen a little.
Excellent Job
lol without being too much of the ass that i am can i get a brief brief run down of how u did this? how did u get those poses in the various angles right? what was the hardest most painstaking part? how long did it take
Hey, really nice job! Love your choice of angles.
You even worked in Gief’s lariat… and it’s parried, too!
I agree with woof’s comment, that would give the SPD more impact.
Wow, thats really nice!
Can’t wait to see it finished. Are you planning on doing a series of these?
I agree with giving the SPD more impact too. Screen shake pause with speedlines etc maybe.
Look forward to seeing more
That was most impressive.:tup:
The real question is why isn’t that your av? lol
size?
Hahaha, I knew people here would appreciate it! :bgrin:
On to the questions:
@Kaneda28: No, I don’t go to animation or art school, in fact I have never gone to such.
@Woof: More impact? I see where you’re coming from, but I wanted to make it more realistic (that’s why he isn’t spinning more in midair). Else I’d put the Atomic Mushroom from Marvel vs Capcom. :bgrin:
Though as I’m looking at it right now, the finish doesn’t really seem that impressive… :wonder:
@Youngcipher: Thanks!
@Rook: Glad you noticed!
@CptMunta: Well, I can wait until giving it a really finished look… It’s heck of a time and work-consuming thing… I’d more likely make another, than polish this…
@White shadow: Perhaps I don’t like flashy thingies for an avatar. But what’s really true is that I’m used to having one and the same avatar wherever, whenever. :razzy:
@Fistoftheryustar: Well, first I acted it, then I started translating it on the paper. Actually - on the screen. Drew it directly in Flash, frame by frame.
How did I get the poses right? Well… Are they right, actually? I guess it have to come down to some experience in drawing, probably.
Hardest part? Hmm… I think I spent most of the time on the spinning piledriver. I had some trouble with where the hands, feet and head of the opponent should go.
My estimate is that it took a total of 16-18 hours. I started with the idea one evening, I made the keyframes of the first part then. An hour or two. And some months after that, I sat a whole day, drawing, to make it as it is now.
I have other art too, but I doubt it would qualify higher than this one here animation.
Yeah I agree with what everyone else said. Good job.
damn can i make it MY av? thats hot!
Great animation and solid use of angles.
Well done.
Slammin rotation when Zangief punches Alex in the tummy. LOOOOVE that part, it’s almost ‘Matrixy’ LOL.
Great Job! :tup: Mad props. How long did this take you?
