Does Spider-Man have some hidden healing factor? In the past year he’s been shot up several times, beaten to a pulp, and had acid spit in his face yet he’s none the worse for wear. In this past issue he’s gotten some more injuries but I won’t say anything more about that yet. I know that he’s been hanging out with Wolverine for awhile but come on.
He has always been able to heal faster than regular humans. Such as coming of a sickness or healing broken bones faster. When he does catch a cold / fever, in the past it has at times effected his spider powers by turning certain powers off like sticking to walls or his Spider-Sense would go off and on, things like that. But being Spider-Man he still comes out of being sick pretty fast.
He is nowhere near Wolverine’s level in that he can’t regenerate like Logan can. Um… ‘The Other’ aside but even that is in the past and he can’t do that again. So let’s just say Spider-Man doesn’t have to worry about the Swine Flu. Spider-Ham on the other hand better watch out WAH WAH… :clown: :rolleyes: :tdown: Sorry couldn’t resist, it’s Friday! 
Yeah, I remember reading back in the day something about Peter saying all he needs to do is sleep for a couple of hours for a significant recovery from injuries.

A few things they originally wanted to do with the clone saga until editorial stepped in was have Peter and MJ keep Baby May and have Ben eventually join the New Warriors. So looking forward to this, it will be another venue for Married Spider-Man fans. :lovin:

Dark Spider-Man comes out this week too that will focus on Gargan Venom. I like Reed’s writing, but I never did care about Gargan Venom. Well I did like him in the Beyond mini and that’s kind of it. I’ll give the first issue a shot.

Yeah I only saw the first two episodes of the second season off of YouTube. Then I got into watching the Japanese TV Show and the 60s cartoon off of Marvel.com and forgot about it…

I’ll try ASM again after #600. Marriage or not the book really needs Mary Jane and Black Cat. Lily and Carly AKA fake MJ and fake Gwen + Debbie Whitman are piss poor substitutes.
I get why they wanted MJ out of the book for a while, but with 3 issues a month it’s almost like she’s been gone for years. Marriage or not MJ should not be regulated to guest appearances. I think that’s why Stan’s strip worked for me better because even when he temporarily KOed the marriage MJ was still around. You just don’t make one of Marvel’s strongest female characters vanish like that.
Waid hasn’t been my favorite BND writer, so far I only like some of Slott’s stories. Kind of sucks that Waid is tackling MJ first after 600. Ah well, I liked other things that Waid has written. Guess we’ll see.
As usual, trying to remain optimistic but getting most of my Spidey-fix through prose books where he is married, Spider-Girl, the strip, back issues, the 60s toon, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends eps I have recorded and now Spectacular. Oh and the 70s Japanese Spider-Man TV show. MARVELEEEEER! :looney:
Wasn’t feeling Dark Spider-Man at all.
Oh there was some comedy tossed in with the book poking fun at the first Spidey movie’s dialog and Gargan Venom talking about women loving him and being able to grab their asses lol! All that was good.
Still it was just about a guy randomly devouring people and I never quite understood why Marvel decided to turn a classic character Mac Gargan, the former Scorpion into a cannibal. The story had no moral center whatsoever. While Dark Avengers makes a team of villains come off as fun I don’t think Reed nailed the formula Bendis came up with. With Bendis people doing evil stuff on the regular is really entertaining and funny in a way that you don’t get too hung up on the details.
Dark Spidey’s not bad or anything as I’m sure some people will be entertained by Gargan Venom’s antics. It’s just not for me I guess.
