Its the very first combo in this vid.
Combo 1 CrL, StM, CrH, S , jM, jM, jH, jS, qcf M, atk+S (Wire Zip) df, jS (as landing), qcf S xx Bionic Manuvers
the part I have problems with is jump, QCF M,then Zipline down, JS (aslanding), then QCF S, Hyper.
I have been trying for hours buy can’t get the zipline down JS QCF+S to connect for the life on me. I am watching the video timing and my inputs and don’t see why after hours I havn’t got this to work.
I cannot seem to get the j. after the first up zip line to land. It doesn’t usually come out. The few time I do get the j.m to come out I am struggling to get the follwing j.mmh to come out as well.
There isn’t really much i can say its all just timing, comes with practice, once you can get the j.m to link after the zip consistently the rest becomes easy.
Just try timing it just a split second before spencer actually lands. Practice is the only way to learn this. Within a couple of hours this will be easier than hulk combos to you.
like you guys say once I get the j.m its easy from there, but man… than j.m is tight. Is it a 1-frame? Do I need to double tap it out? I havn’t found a way to consistently execute it.
Also what is the best way to end this thing? Most practical? I have seen some zip line videos and some of the enders I don’t think I will be able to do online, since Spencer is being molded as part of my online team.
i had issues with that falling j.M when first learning it as well. You need to hit the button earlier than it seems. Like right as spencer hits the top of the upforward zip. double tapping will help if you are comfortable using it in the combo. the best way to end it (that i know of) while retaining your wall bounce is to end the third loop as j.M, j.H, j.S, forward zip, a slightly delayed downforward zip, S, tigerknee QCF+HxxL, Bionic Maneuvers. You may need to add another forward zip before the downforward one depending on how far from the corner you are. After that you still have an otg into another 80k/super with the criss cross zips. if you have an otg assist that Spencer can use after the second reel in punch 80k then you get more 80k’s. This combo is touch of death on pretty much everybody with 3 meters used and is depressing for your opponent because it takes forever to finish.
For the criss cross, i always throw them out of the corner. Does that mean I’m too slow/fast?
I noticed Japanese spencers like GX and Nemo do a df zip into down zip then do the 80k as opposed to the criss cross. Is that more consistent and prevents the auto correct problem I’m having?
If you’re too fast it’ll just entirely not work. Throwing them out of the corner means you’re too slow. The timing is slightly different from larger characters to smaller characters. RR will always be thrown out of the corner, though that’s generally okay given his 750k lifebar.
Don’t forget to hold down before TKing for the criss cross, in order to avoid super jumping. This makes the timing more lenient and allows it to work at all on the smallest characters.
your team doesnt really work well for stacking the 80k’s unfortunately unless you call ammy’s assist as you launch into a tiger knee’ed up grapple in the corner. not sure if that lets you get another up grapple as ammy juggles the opponent as i don’t play ammy at all.
EDIT: I just tested calling ammy as you press S and, yes, it does let you get another up grapple.
