Special Move Description Request

Hello.

I am a seeker of movelist information for many fighting games. Reason: I’m working on a fanfiction featuring many fighters and don’t just want to write them like video game characters, I want to write them like the character was actually doing them. (Similar to Nightmare Symbiosis, but in my own style.) I will not post requests for moves who’s descriptions I can find online. If the move is obscure, I will post what game it is from.

And before you say anything, I lack money to buy these games, will not in the forseeable future have said money, and don’t like emulators.

Thanks for any help you can give.

What’s up KM? Been awhile.
I can help with some these…but many of these are from Isuka (eww…) or from EX versions of the characters (which I’m not too familiar). But maybe I’ll fire up my copy of GGXX to research some of the EX moves when I have spare time…

Shin Souten Enshin Ranbu :qcf: :qcf: :s: : Faust gets onto his scalpel like a Pogo-stick and sways back and forth with such speed that he looks like a blur. (Picture a tuning fork or twanging a plastic fork stuck in a picnic table )

Kabari :hcf: :hs: : Baiken extends her claw arm to latch/stab the opponent and draw them closer to her (exactly like a move from Shiranui Gen-an from SS2)

Maintenance-go no Gigeki :hcf: :hcf: :s: : Bridget stumbles and falls backward as a conflaguration of explosions (out of thin air?) appear in front of him. (Visually the same as Maintenance-chuu no Higeki–his normal version of the OD)

There are dozens of fighters, and most characters these days have a good number of moves.

Flame Dipper :qcf: :k: : Like Ky’s Stun Dipper, only with flames; Sol does a fiery feet-first slide forward, then hooks his leg to trip his foe.

Kliff

Shishi Otoshi AIR :hcf: :s: : While in air, Kliff plunges his giant cleaver straight down at a 90-degree angle while straddling the handle. Anyone below him gets hurt by the blade or the energy “shivers” radiating slightly from the tip of the blade.
Reflex Roar :qcf: :qcf: :s: : Kliff transforms instantly into his Awakened (young) form, and shoots a wad of fiery ki shaped like a giant dragon’s skull from the oustretched, open palm of his left hand (his right hand firmly holds his “Zanryuutou” sword planted behind his back)

Shadow Gallery AIR :hcf: :s: : Eddie vanishes, and he reappears as a black puddle appears in front of the opponent, and jumps out like a “shadow fish”

Millia

Pretty Maze :qcf: :s: or :hs: : Gameplay-wise, it is identical to her Tandem Top. Visually it is different…with Tandem Top Millia does a ballet twirl to create her energy disc. With Pretty Maze, Millia does a backflip to create create it. Pretty Maze also differs in that she can do the move in mid-air as well, unlike Tandem Top.

Justice

X-Laser (Instant Kill): Justice shrieks and does a FAST (especially for an Instant Kill move) dash hovering close to ground trying to grab her opponent. If she succeeds, the screen turns white and then when it reappears, we see Justice doing a Superman like-flight into deep space (her foe trapped in both her arms, stretched out forward and above her). Once in deep space, Justice stops then blasts her opponent, as her foe disappears into a splash of fireworks. Then the screen cuts back to Earth…Justice crosses her arms in triumph and shrieks a victorious war cry while her foe crashes to the ground in fiery wreckage. The coolest Instant Kill in the game, in my opinion.

H.I.T.S. :dp: :k: : Johnny does a (goofy-looking) jumping vertical split kick (think Cammy’s Cannon Spike).
Unchou no Iai AIR(:qcf: :qcf: :hs: ): While in air, Johnny does a quick downward slice at a 45-degree angle. If he hits…the opponent falls backward in slow motion while Johnny mumbles some stuff, and then his foe gets hit with the “delayed” slice (think the anime convention of a quick slice, slow motion, and then somebody crumbles).

Zappa

Knuckle Kaiser :hcb: :r: :s: : Visually, it’s the exact same as his “normal” Bellows Malice overdrive (3 giant centipedes spring out of Zappa’s body and attack). It is different in gameplay because it only does one-hit for big damage, rather than 10 hits for consecutive damage.

Slayer

V-Jigata Dandy AIR :qcb: :qcb: :s: : Basically his normal version 2 overdrives, Chokkagata Dandy and Eien no Tsubasa combined. While in the air, Slayer does a 45-degree angle dive, and then immediate a 45-degree angle head-first leap in the other direction…leaving a “V” trail.

Bridget

Maintenance-go no Gigeki: Actually, I made a mistake and described the normal version super. Bridget actually grabs his foe, tosses them up into the air, and explosions appear around the falling foe.

Mu-Ro-Fu-Shi :qcf: :hs: : Exactly like her regular version’s “Chouzetsu Monzetsu Kirimomi Daisenpuu” Overdrive except it’s a special move that only hits once. May spins her anchor around in a whirling devish either backwards or forwards.

Hayoku Rakuhou AIR :qcf: :qcf: :hs: : Chipp throws down 2 sets of 6 Kunai (those ninja daggers) below him in spreading formation.

Sanmai Tatami Gaeshi :qcf: :hs: : 3 Tatami mats spring out instead of just one, like with the regular Tatami Gaeshi

Flower Bird “Fugetsu”: Can’t find this name listed anywhere…maybe if you put the controller motion instead, I’d know which one it is…
Tenzen Leg: Ditto
Kachoufuugetsu (GUARD CANCEL) :hcb: :s: : A 4-Hit combo…Anji does 3 consecutive dashes forwards (like Fuujin)…each ending with him lifting an arm holding his fan down…then opposite arm in the reverse position…then the other…finishing with a final pose of him bowing and crossing his arms (and fans) in front of his torso.
Mugyou :hcb: :r: :hs: : Exactly the same as the first hit as his regular Overdrive “Issei Ougi: Sai”. The difference is that you can press a different button for different follow-ups:
-:p: (Kou): Exactly the same as his regular version’s Kou…a jumping grab
-:k: (Ten): Exactly the same as his regular version’s Tenjinashi Overdrive…Anji does a QUICK leap above his opponents head…then drops straight down and spins in place catching the opponent in a whirling devish.
-:s: (Sai): Exactly the same as his regular version’s Issei Ougi: Sai Overdrive…Anji throws a huge fan at the opponent which spins in place slashing the foe for many hits
-:hs: (On): Exactly the same as his regular version’s On…Anji leaps into the air trying to grab his foe. If he succeeds, he pulls out a giant fan sparkling with electricity and gives his foe a big jolt.

Object Ball :d: :d: :hs: : Venom crouches over and shakes with vigor. This charges up his next Stinger Aim. Instead of a normal cue ball…it’ll be a little swirling black-hole looking, uh, thing.

Slayer

Royal Hunt :qcf: :qcf: :hs: : Slayer whips off his red mantle and tries to snag the opponent with it. If he succeeds, they disappear and Slayer pulls his mantle back on (snapping upward) and moments later the opponents drops to the ground seemingly out of nowhere.
