Anything more about a stream?
Will there be casuals before the tournament? I’m sure there will be, so I guess the question I should be asking is, how early will we be able to play casual matches? I play Persona on PS3 so I could use a few games to adapt to the Xbox pad.
We are figuring all the stream stuff tuesday or wednesday. As far as casuals. I will be at the shop after I get out of class around 3:30. Once we get set up, if it isnt already, I will let people rock casuals. Funny thing is, is that I was thinking about doing persona on the PS3 because thats the only setup I have for it but I can get the store to get one for the xbox. I have been trying like hell to lvl up my akihiko before the tournament. He is hard to play well because he is super super close range and there are so many strong zoners, and the other close range characters seem to have much better mixup potential.
That would be awesome if you ran it on PS3 but I wonder if that would affect the number of entries. But yeah I see what you mean, Akihiko’s options seem very limited against zoners and pretty much every other character but they are there. Just remember to take advantage, but not abuse the use of evasive action, play patiently, and once you get in on your opponent, stay in.
Haha yeah. I have been grinding like hell. You gotta get good at being psychic with him do to the reversal. (B+D). I played a ton of matches today. It seems that Mitsuru, Aigis and That chick on your Avatar seem to be the most common characters I run into. If (Big IF) I drop Akihiko I would pick up Kanji for sure. He seems like a super fun character. I also fought an Elizabeth that made me look silly ><
UPDATE: The tournament will now be held inside. More information on stream: We will link the twitch address if it pans out. (I dont want to promise anything). We have volunteers for stream.
Also THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD INSIDE!!! WITH AIR!!! YAY!!!
P.P.S. SFXT will be the UPDATED version with ALL the new DLC Characters.
